HR for health made an error in processing my retirement deferral. They erroneously thought that I had already deferred the maximum amount of funds into the 401K for the year so they stopped my deferrals on 7/3/2025. As you can imagine, I was also not receiving the contractually required employer match AND missing out on any earnings made in the 401K. Fast forward to now, 2 months later, and the issue is still not corrected. My employer has submitted tickets and called HR for Health several times and each time they say they will fix it, but they don't! So in summary, I am short about $ 1,488.17 so far from the match + interest.

This is a terrible company. I want to caution other doctors about HR for Health’s mandatory one-year contract. When you sign up, it is not clearly disclosed—I believe intentionally—that if you are unhappy with the service, you are locked in for an entire year. Even if you try to end the service, if you miss their narrow cancellation window, they automatically trap you for another year.

In my case, I found their service did not meet my needs, but when I tried to terminate, I was told it was impossible because they had provided me with “HR documents” — which turned out to be simple PDF templates, hardly worth the cost of binding a practice to a year-long commitment.

If a service is truly good, it should not have to rely on restrictive contracts to keep customers. This feels like a deliberate setup, and I strongly urge my colleagues to avoid HR for Health. There are better HR solutions that do not use such tactics.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with [Company Name]. From the start, the process has been riddled with issues that speak to a complete lack of basic business practices and transparency.

First, I was never provided with any proper forms or documentation to authorize the renewal for a third year. Despite the renewal occurring, no signature, DocuSign, or even an email requesting authorization was ever sent. I only saw an activation date, and no communication followed. This level of negligence is unacceptable for any professional service.

To make matters worse, when I reached out for basic documents for my employees, I was told that they would transfer me to their legal team to handle the necessary documentation. This means additional charges on top of the already existing ones, which is incredibly frustrating and unethical. The whole process feels like a money grab rather than genuine customer service.

If you're considering using this service, I would highly recommend you think twice. Their lack of transparency, failure to adhere to basic business practices, and attempt to pass the responsibility onto their legal team while charging you more is a red flag. I will not be continuing my contract with them, and I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Horrible company. Sure, the layout looks nice but don't be fooled. They aren't that helpful. Onboarding process was a hot mess and then if you try to cancel their service they say you cannot cancel and give you the runaround.

Poor onboarding experience and did not receive the information and training needed to be able to efficiently use their program. We would call and ask questions or bring up concerns and would not get a follow up for months. When you bring this concern up, they just mention that we should have filed support tickets instead of talking to one of their representatives. Funny how that was never mentioned on the set up or when we first started bringing up concerns. They also will set up calls and then reschedule a bunch of times. So far we have wasted 10 months of having to pay for a service we have not been able to fully use. Contacted them to stop service but they have us in a 2 year contract with no options to get out of. Don't make the same mistake that we did and save your money.

Very slow rollout of payroll, constantly rescheduling setup meetings. Paying for payroll for months now without using it.

Although this program is very pretty, it is not user friendly. We were forced to move to it before it was ready. Changes requested took too long to get fixed.
Generally, we are very dissatisfied with the program although the people trying to help us have been very nice and tried to show us how to work around the problems.

This is less about a single experience and more about every experience: HRFH is stellar! We have had questions pertaining to every facet of a dental office and they have always been prompt, professional, positive, personalized and knowledgeable in their guidance. Sometimes this is technical, but other times it involves how to deal with staff issues. Can't say enough good things about HRFH. If they are unsure, they will seek out accurate answers for you. They were exemplary during Covid when we had to furlough and rehire EEs plus navigate an entirely different landscape. Very, very beneficial service to have at our disposal. They truly feel like we are not "out here alone" rather, "in it together". Particularly in this day and age of litigation. Proper HR support that you can trust is essential!
