If you’re travelling on your own as I was, I couldn’t do the private tour as price exorbitant - it’s a shame that howlanders doesn’t offer a ‘shared private’ tour (San Pedro/Salar uyuni round trip) so that there is access to more comfortable hotels and an English speaking guide

We’re very sorry that your tour was canceled just two days after your booking. We completely understand how disappointing and inconvenient this must have been.
In this case, the local operator had a charter block that had not been communicated to us in advance, which unfortunately meant that the availability shown at the time of booking was not accurate. We have since improved the availability calendar for this specific tour to help prevent this situation from happening again.

The tour to Machu Picchu didn’t include the ticket entrance to Machu Picchu. Absolutely baffling.

We’re sorry for the confusion regarding the Machu Picchu entrance ticket. Our Machu Picchu tours are available with two different options: with or without the entrance ticket.
In this case, the option selected at the time of booking was “Tour without Machu Picchu Entrance Ticket – Standard Hotel*”**, which is why the entrance ticket was not included in the booking.
Nevertheless, we fully understand your disappointment and, as a gesture of goodwill, we provided a full refund, even though our cancellation policy did not normally allow for a full refund for this tour.
We’re sorry for any confusion caused and appreciate your feedback, which helps us make our tour information and booking process as clear as possible.
