The Sound Decoder was delivered very quickly and was very easy to fit into the Class 15. I will definitely use Howes again for Decoders.

This decoder is not supplied with a speaker as the model comes pre fitted Below is a list of the Function keys and their assignments applicable to this model. F0. Lights on/off F1. Sound on/off F2. Horn 1 double F3. Horn 2 double F4. Horn 3 single F5. Buffer up F6. Coupling up F7. Flange squeal F7. Carriage door slam F8. Buffer clash on wagons F9. Shunting mode. Press once and the loco moves slowly, press it again and you are back to normal control F10. Acceleration/Brake override. This function overrides the normal acceleration and braking settings. F11. Easy to fit (plug in) but no fitting instructions with decoder. Includes list of sound functions
The sound file and decoder work very well and the the additional stay alive that you prewired is working fine. There were some initial problems in that there were no function keys for the rear head code lights. This was fixed by your engineer telephoning me and giving me anumber of CVs to change which solved the problem. There were two wires provided to connect the speakers. These wires wre not needed as the built in speakers automatically connected with plunger pins on contacts as part of the manufacturers build. The model runs very smoothly. From initial order the decoder arrived within a few days. I am well pleased with the outcome and after sales.
