DO NOT BUY HOST KOALA FOR HOSTING!!!

They have just SUSPENDED MY HOSTING ACCOUNT. Because of this review, nearly 1 year of posts and data on 10+ domains are GONE! They are refusing to let me migrate my data, they simply suspended my hosting. Real professional guys.

Let me tell you why. First, they will blame you if something goes wrong on their end. For example, they keep blocking my IP from accessing my server because (They say I'm logging in with the wrong password). Then they completely block my IP and I have to send in a ticket to log into the panel OR EVEN VISIT MY DOMAIN.

After sending a ticket in they take 8+ Hours to respond to an emergency ticket. Usually, its around 24 hours, so there are 24 hours you cannot access your website or server. They have this stupid firewall called "Immunify" they claim I'm entering my email password in the wrong, I have no e-mail clients that are entering in a password AT ALL, I have no clue what's wrong with them. They will not disable Immunify, sometimes on your server, you have to complete a captcha to get EMAIL.

Can you imagine the experience your customers/browsers on your site get from having to fill out a captcha just to view something on your site?

They refuse to help besides "You're welcome to a refund pro-rated of course, we don't care about your 24-hour downtime and we will not disable the program that makes the user fill in a captcha just to view your site".

What an absolutely horrible experience. This latest time the support person claims I did not get blocked, yet the moment she replied I was magically unblocked from the server again. Ughh horrible experience.

I have several projects for different clients from around the world with hostkoala and each account costs under 10 dollars a year. I have used other budget hosts before and none have performed this well even at prices higher than hostkoala.

Cheap and affordable hosting for small sites and testing purposes.
The support team is impeccable (even better than the top sharks in the hosting field), they answer within minutes even for the smallest of issues.
Deducted 1 star because of downtime issues. I've faced 3-4+ downtimes of 20-30 minutes this year. Still can't complain given the cheap price of their plans.
Will try their large hosting plans for a new project soon.

Support is really helpful in small matter! Price is cheap and well worth it.

It's now been a few months that I have chosen hostkoala, and I still have 0 doubts about it. The server is very fast and also didn't experience any slow moments / website crashes in this period.

Our company has been using Host Koala's reseller service for over a year and have no complaints so far.

Prices are very good, uptime is perfect, and litespeed cache has been a godsend for our Wordpress sites.

Best hosting provider, with predictable renewal fees

The price is very affordable, the uptime is excelent and the support team is always willing to help. When I had problems caused by myself, they always helped me quickly. I already had bad experience with others Host providers, but Host Koala is being perfect for me! Thank you very much for everything Host Koala team!

The service responses are number 1 for me. Even so smallest issue (by my mistake) is resolved and corrected.

I am very happy with hostkoala because 1) I find their support very helpful and informative 2) their prices are excellent.
I have been using website hosting since the late nineties and I have paid many times more to providers which don't come anywhere close to the quality of hostkoala.
To be honest, at first I was a bit put off by the koala character on their home page, but it turns out that they are very professional. First I tried them out with a few legacy websites which were not-crucial. That went very well, so now (about a year later) I have moved the really important ones over to them.
They really know what they are doing, so I highly recommend giving them a try.

Good customer service and support which is the most important factor in choosing a business.

Previously, I hosted my site on siteground. After a year, a bill came at around 300 US Dollars for my second year ( My first bill was around 60ish dollars ). This made me decide to move my Wordpress site to another provider.

After some online research and recommendations, I decided to switch to Host Koala.

My Wordpress site was migrated in under 12 hours, and the site worked almost perfectly after that. I did not notice any performance improvement, or degradation after the move. I have not noted any service interruption or downtime too.

I had some slight issues with my contact form, which was resolved quickly after contacting support ( about 2ish hours ).

Overall, I'm very pleased with the service so far. I save almost 50% from my initial payment ( Currently pay 34 US Dollars per year ), and a lot less than the 300ish dollars Siteground was going to charge me for my second year.

I have been using their reseller hosting for over a year now. Great value and easy to use and to set up. Customer service is solid so far. The only con would be they do not have cPanel servers for reseller hosting, they use Direct Admin, which is fine for my use case, but might be a dealbreaker for others

I wish i found Hostkoala earlier, This is an absolutely amazing service / host! I don't think i've ever been so happy with a provider / host in my entire life. They have top tier amazing customer service & support, outstanding server uptimes, easy to setup for new people and extremely affordable & cheap prices! I couldn't be more grateful to find Hostkoala, i was just sick and tired of Hostinger scamming me 15$ for garbage.

Excellent service and very good uptime. I have 5 different domains for the past 1 year and their value for money proposition is simply unbeatable! For $5/year you can be online and have a small business with hostkoala hosting.

I've been with this service for a little over a year now. Their prices are amazing. Their uptime has been exceptional and their support staff is super helpful...even to a total php n00b like me.

I switched here from GoDaddy because their prices became exceptionally cost prohibitive. There were no discount codes for long time customers.

My only complaint is that I wish I had found HostKoala years ago instead of getting ripped off by GoDaddy because I wasn't a new customer. I was with them for 12 years.

Very good service and host. The agents are friendly and tho host is fast enought for our goal. Good purchase for the value.

Decent hosting for some casual/light hosting, made better due to very affordable pricing.

Pros :
Very cheap pricing ( You can find $5/Year plans at the bottom of their hosting plans page )
Very fast hosting ( Compared to other hosts, but slower than Virtual Private servers )
Support provides helpful responses

Cons :
No fixed Live Chat hours or Phone Support.
Have waited up to 5 hours for a support ticket.
No higher tier plans for power users, instead I was referred to another provider when asking for a higher tier plan.

Great experience over this last year. Fast to respond to support tickets.

This last few months I've been trying to create a website for a project I have with some college friends. When I started I didn't know anything about websites so I went with Hostkoala's shared hosting mainly because it was cheap. I haven't had any problem since and support has been helpful and friendly when needed.
