I'm with hosting power a good few years now, I have hosted a lot of really nice students over the years with no problems, I love meeting students from different countries and learning about their culture and what they are studying here in Ireland, unfortunately I have to say that I'm finding it much harder to get real students on the site lately as most people looking to rent the room when they arrive in Ireland are either looking for jobs or working, I know rental accommodation in dublin is expensive for people but I signed up to hosting power for students and I don't want to be taken in lodgers, this is why I took one star off, other than this problem I do eventually get real students, it just takes a bit longer to find one, but it is a good company overall,

Hosting power is such a big help to landlords like me who would want to take guests, having all their excellent security and background checks. You feel safe and secured. Have never had any problems with any of tenants. All are properly vetted before they arrive and given a list of house rules. It’s great to know you have the backup of a company for the tenants and homeowners alike.

As a host its easy to register but there are a lot a issue with the service I dont like given you are hosting someone in your home. There is no way to communicate with guest that have sent request to stay. in other words you cant vet them. Apparently if you send a message to Support they will ask the question for you, given how long it takes for support to get back to me this could take days.

Hosting power has been of great help. They are reliable and efficient in what they do . I have had 5 tenants with everything arranged by Hosting power . Even when there have som instances of cancellation and early check out , hosting power arrange for a replacement straight away . Well done hosting power .

The booking process was very smooth. Everything was clearly explained and very transparent from the beginning (i.e., that there is a service fee, and that one may need to apply to more than one accommodation in order to increase their chances of getting a room). We appreciated how organized the team was - immediately, once we got our booking confirmed by our host, we received a proof of address document (which is helpful for PPS applications), a payment schedule, the details of our host, etc. The accommodation itself was exactly as described (better even in person, haha)!
This is a legitimate platform, highly recommended!
