It doubled in price on subscription so I cancelled it, I’m not paying £31 a bag! Had an email saying someone would contact me to discuss this………………
still waiting!

My 3 dogs absolutely love Honest dog products. Since using them I never have uneaten bowls from any of them. We use the Green Muscle joint powder, dental powder, goats milk powder, and the chicken/beef/turkey broths. All either sprinkled on the food or made into drinks (or ice cubes in the summer). Seriously if you want happy pooches with full tummy’s and happy joints & teeth then use Honest dog. Love that they have subscriptions so it works out cheaper to buy. The best thing I’ve ever done for my dogs

To make a liquid broth it does not mix very well, but clearly the taste is very acceptable to my dog.

Quick delivery. Great product my dogs have a drink of warm goats milk every morning when they wake up. Equivalent to a cup of tea in bed. Dental powder going down well too. Well done.

Very unhappy with customer care,it's none existent.
I cancelled my subscription a while ago,as my dog did not like it.
I returned the two unopened seconds batch pouches to them and had to pay postage.
I also cancelled my subscription with my bank.
Have all the emails to prove this.
Had to constantly contact them for my refund on the pouches only. Eventually they paid.
Some months later I receive a pouch in the post
No warning of them sending me an order
Nothing to say delivery on its way
And nothing to inform me they would be taking money out of my account,which was cancelled.
Messaged them
Someone will be in contact with you to sort this out.
I'm still waiting and they are not answering my messages either.

The beef broth is fantastic. My daughter's dogs love it . Her elderly husky has been unwell and it has made him feel better after only 4 days .I can't thank your enough . We thought he wouldn't be around much longer but he seems like he is back to his old self .

Serious quality‑control concerns and dismissive customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Honest Dog. When my order arrived, the packets inside the box were sticky and gave off a strong odour resembling urine. This wasn’t a minor issue  it was clearly a contamination problem with the product itself. I even wondered whether this could have been a warehouse or storage issue, because the smell and residue were impossible to ignore.

When I contacted customer support, the first response was to suggest “postal contamination,” which made no sense given that the sealed packets inside the box were affected. After I explained this, I was met with repeated reassurances about their “independent testing” and “quality checks,” which felt like they were implying the problem was with me rather than the product I received.

I really dislike when customer service responses treat the customer as if they’re wrong simply because the issue doesn’t fit neatly into a script. The condition of the product spoke for itself, and the repeated insistence on quality checks did nothing to address the actual contamination I reported.

What makes this even more disappointing is that this wasn’t my first purchase. I’ve bought other products from Honest Dog before, which shows I was a loyal customer who genuinely believed in their brand. The three bone broth packets cost around £33 even on offer not cheap and I bought them specifically to support my frail, sick dog’s health. Receiving something in this condition was upsetting enough, but the dismissive handling of my concern made it worse.

There was also no customer service phone number, and the TikTok Shop message I sent received no reply at all. Being directed into a slow returns process for a product that arrived in this state is unacceptable.

For transparency, I run a large dog‑focused influencer platform and regularly review products honestly for my audience. Unfortunately, this experience both the product condition and the customer service has been extremely poor.

I won’t be purchasing from Honest Dog again, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience.

Easy website and speedy delivery, thankyou, and the green lipped mussel powder really makes a difference to my collie.

The Bone Broth has been a game changer for us. Our dog is a fussy eater and trying to get him to eat healthy food is a battle (sound like a child) Anyway, adding the bone broth to his meals has eliminated the problem. He gets stuck in straight away and gets positively excited about dinner time instead of the sniff inspection and nose turn up at what was on offer.

I had tried the beef bone broth with my Scottie and he gobbled it up. His coat is looking great & he is happy with the broth also the goats milk powder. He’ not great at drinking fluids so between the goats milk and the broth his nose is always wet & he’s always hydrated.

We absolutely love honest dog company products but my dogs fav by far is their goat milk

Quick delivery. Poppie loves the Goat Milk. Shes not fussed on anything else though, but she is a very fussy pooch.

I buy the bone broth for my cat. He was a rescue and came to me with rough fur and a really bad tummy I have been giving him the bone broth for a year now and his fur is so silky and soft and along with with a good diet, I have a very healthy and happy cat.

Products that benefit your dog’s well being. My dog loves the goat milk powder and the bone broths. Her coat is soft and shiny, she is a happy rescue puppy.
