We had a hen weekend booked with this company... And due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel the trip.. but they gave every excuse under the sun! Saying they couldn't find us leaving it to the week before our supposed arrival to say they have found and canceled our booking but no refund will be given! Absolute joke of a company! No phone number just emails and a WhatsApp number to message... Do not book with this company!

I am very disappointed in the service that when I had to cancel my booking I went weeks to try contacting them as my mother passed away trying to access her account and email and my email address aswell but to no success and then with six days to go I eventually got into the account and now its no refund 1500 Fownhope the drain

Lovely looking villa in San Fernando gran Canaria, or so we thought, basic kitchen tools , cutlery and plates etc.
no cleaning products provided other than a small bottle washing up liquid. Both showers flooded when used, the one downstairs had a bar missing which stopped the water running out of the shower tray, disgustingly dirty too! Upstairs shower drain blocked, Reported and took “technician “ 3 days to come out, we were advised by reservation team to unblock the shower drains as it was probably full of hair and causing the problem, despite sending several photos, sure I’m going to pull a load of other people’s hair etc out of a drain!! They advised the “technician “ had been and solved the problem, at a time when we were still in the villa, must of been invisible man!! We made do for 9 nights as each reservations agent , at least 7 different ones, advised differently, it became a chore to try and get them to understand!! Would not use again as a booking agent

Absolute disaster. I booked 8 months in advance for my daughter's wedding. They did not send access details on time. I was asked to upload ID and I still don't know what happened to it. I spent hours phoning and messaging them. The house was dilapidated and in poor repair. They were not responsive and I was left on my own with a very difficult situation. Miserable and extremely expensive.

Update: A month later and no customer support. I am still worried about identity theft, not to mention the theft of my money for a substandard house. Hometogo does not have standards or accountability and appears to be a perfect cover for rogue operators.

We have been trying to find out the address of the property we are going to next weekend and have sent an email and did not receive a response. I then went on a "chat" and were given a number to call and had to wait or leave a number to call back on, which we did. However, the number is in Berlin. This is getting to be a real hassle and all we need is the address. So far we know the town but nothing else!! What a dreadful organisation. We just received the phone me call with the information required. They said that they sent the information on May. The only information we received was the town it was in. We will not book with Home to go ever again and, seeing the other reviews, I would advise against anyone else doing so.

After posting my original complaint Home To Go uk said they had no record of me contacting them. This is a blatant lie as they even provided me with a case number #02867180.
Unable to get access to our prepaid accommodation and with no contact from Hone To Go since taking our money 2 months earlier i emailed my HTG I.D and bookinh no on 21st May. Got a standard holding email on 22nd saying someone would contact us.i emailed twice on the 23rd plus downloaded whatsapp and sent 2 messages for their so called Help desk. Called their uk number on 9 occassions without getting through.
Still no acceptance or accountability and genuine complaints like mine dismissed with lies about no contact from us. Well i have the records on my email and phone and i have their case number too. Absolutely aweful experience. They dont deserve to be in business.

TRIED TO BOOK A HOLIDAY COTTAGE THROUGH HOME TO GO. ALL MY DATES WERE CONFIRMED THE PRICE OF £649.74 WAS SHOWN FOR MY DATES AND THE AMOUNT OF GUESTS AND PET I WAS HAPPY WITH THIS SO I CONTINUED TO CONFIRM BY BOOKING AND THE PRICE DOUBLED . THIS COMPANY NEEDS LOOKING INTO AS THIS TYPE OF TRADING IS UNACCEPTABLE AND SHARPE PRACTICE.

Last night, I booked a holiday via hometogo and received email confirmation. This morning Hoseasons phoned me up to say the deposit payment had failed. They gave me a number to phone and are holding the booking for 24 hours. I checked with my bank: the payment request had not been submitted. I phoned the "Hoseasons" number and got Cottages.com. Who will my holiday contract be with? I phoned the Corporate HQ numbers. Every number led to the same Artificial Stupidity system. It seems impossible to speak to a person unless I wait on hold for a long time. All 3 companies could improve by making it easy for customers to talk to people instead of idiotic bots. The property looks good - if I can book it. Second goof by cottages.com. A year ago, they cancelled a booking without telling me.

Booked with Home2go who then sneakily put us through another agent - Bookiply! Between them they took all our money for the holiday apartment - Altea la Nova, ground floor apartment with striped outdoor furniture, (DO NOT STAY HERE) with no hot water for 5 days! We are now home so require part refund AND the owner has kept £500 deposit! Home2go say its down to Bookiply (who also say there is nothing they can do!) say its not their problem and cant do anything and say they cant make the owner refund!! Be very careful as these companies between them hand over all your money straight to the home owners instead of waiting until you get back to make sure there is no issues. The unscrupulous owners and the host have just run for the hills as they know these companies do not police them!! Worst holiday ever. Having to go the legal route!

Hometogo cancelled my booking on dec. 28, 2022, the day after I booked and paid the fuld rent, 642 EUR for an apartment on Tenerife, and without telling me.
Hometogo claims that I cancelled my self, but what I did was to unsubscripe their newsletter. I unsubscribed at exactly the same minut, that Hometogo says I cancelled.
I have been writing many e-mails about this, but Hometogo will not admit their fault, and I have lost all my money.
The worst customer service I ever experienced!

On December 20, 2019 I made the payment of the reservation Booking code 135976000 for an apartment in London from March 26 to 28, confirming the reservation London Apartments (aldgate_abcproperties.eu) with ID: 16510895.
On March 14 I requested the cancellation of the reservation by the Spanish State of alarm by Covid19. On March 16, EasyJet confirms the cancellation of its EZ6TX7R flight to London. On March 17, HomeToGo GmbH in Berlin confirms that they will study my case. After several international phone calls to consult them and send up to 7 emails asking for explanations, I have only received answers about internal conflicts between Aldgate Apartments and Home ToGo, which they were solving. In the last email of March 24, I accepted that costs, fees, etc. be deducted from me, in order to recover the difference, even though I had not used the apartment and I was not the cause of the cancellation, but rather a case of force majeure. for my government.
I am still waiting for a final answer and the payment of the part that corresponds to me.
This will be my first complaint through the networks, others will follow by other means, if I do not receive a clear and definitive answer to this question.
I keep all the inquiry and response emails and the Movistar invoice for the calls made to 902 ..... from HomeToGo Spain and +44 (0) 20359 83 .... from Aldgate London, UK
