Maritza, Alex y Manolo fueron muy amables con nosotros. El piso está super limpio, el cuarto muy moderno y los desayunos muy ricos. El ultimo día tuvimos problemas y ellos nos ayudaron un montón. Fueron “nuestra familia”, nos encantó estar ahi. Snoopy tambien fue muy divertido.

J'aime l'idée que l'on puisse avoir des propositions venant d'autres hôtes quand on fait une demande. D'autre part, la CB n'est débitée que de 15% du montant total au moment de la réservation. C'est la première fois que j'effectue une réservation avec Homestay, ce site n'est pas assez connu.

Booking is very convenient, all information about the object is understandable and accessible. Contact with the host stronono did not cause any problems.

I had a very bad stay in a house that can only be described as squalid and not at all like the pictures on the website.

The owner was only at home to take my money and I did not see them again during my one night stay.

I reported the issue to Homestay on my return and sent them photos as proof.

They returned my deposit but said they could do nothing else except delete the accommodation from the website. This they did.

To my surprise I found the accommodation reinstated a few months later - I reported this and they said the owner had used a different email and phone number and so they had not spotted this was a black listed house. They deleted it again.

Guess what it is back being advertised!

Homestay is a good way to connect people who need a place to stay with people who have a space to rent. It was a useful tool for planning an extended stay for international travel
