Hachiman Cestino laundry basket - perfect!
I ordered a Hachiman Cestino laundry basket early September and after delays with stock replenishment it was received today. I am glad that I did not cancel my order given the long delay as it is excellent quality and design, perfect size and I could not find anything similar online. Thank you to the team at HomeArama, who, despite a couple of communication glitches, were helpful in explaining the delivery issues and kept me up to date. Very poor delivery
Very poor delivery. The 2-3 day delivery did not happen and it was only after chasing and speaking to the store I was told they had delays with ordering. They did then address the issue as it was a gift needed for a specific date and the item arrived but it was three weeks. I feel I could have at least been notified of the delay or refunded the shipping costs.

Thank you for your message. I’ve looked into your order and am truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet expectations.
Since Brexit, Elephant Parade stock has been centralised in Europe, with weekly deliveries arriving in the UK. Because of this, we no longer quote specific delivery days but instead ask customers to let us know if an item is required by a particular date. Unfortunately, your order comments were left blank, so the team weren’t initially aware of any deadline. (We’re now reviewing how we can make that message clearer.)
That said, having confirmed a dispatch date of 10/10, we should absolutely have informed you of the further delay to 16/10. Although the team upgraded your delivery to a next-day service at our cost, we recognise that better communication was needed, and I make no excuse for that.
The team have been made aware, and I’ve arranged a refund of your delivery charge.

Second my sincerest apologies for the long delivery and our apparent lack of communication. The delivery period caught us by surprise too, the shipment was delayed from the Far East by factors beyond our control but, of course, we should have kept you fully informed.
