The recent Black Friday period has been extremely busy, and unfortunately some delays can occur while parcels are in transit, as delivery companies are operating at very high volumes. We are actively following up and pushing our couriers to prioritise and deliver orders as quickly as possible.
Please also note that most of our products are made on demand. This means they usually take 1–5 business days to be prepared before shipping. This approach allows us to reduce waste and support a more sustainable, eco-friendly production process.
For reference, our estimated delivery timeframes are:
- UK orders: approximately 12 business days in total
- USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and international orders: up to 15 business days in total

Misleading product and disappointing quality
I ordered a bedding set advertised as 1000TC Egyptian cotton in a sateen weave, but what arrived was nothing like the product shown or described.
The fabric is rough, warm, and completely lacks the smooth, soft feel you’d expect from genuine sateen. Even my older 500TC Dorma bedding is far superior in both texture and finish.
The colour was also totally different from the photos — much darker and with no sheen at all.
I even took close‑up photos of the weave, and it’s clear the fabric isn’t sateen as advertised. It looks and feels like a basic, lower‑quality weave.

All of our bedding is produced using 100% Egyptian cotton made from long-staple fibres and woven in a sateen construction. We have worked with the same premium manufacturers for many years and carry out regular quality checks to ensure consistency with the specifications shown on our website. Comparisons with other brands can vary, as different manufacturers may use different yarns, weaving techniques, and finishing processes, even when similar thread counts are stated.
Regarding colour and finish, we do our best to represent our products as accurately as possible, though slight variations can occasionally occur due to lighting, screens, or production batches. That said, we take any concerns about noticeable differences very seriously.
Your feedback is unexpected, and we would genuinely like to review this in detail. We have invited you to contact our support team and share the photos you mentioned of the fabric and weave. If there is any issue identified on our side, we will of course take full responsibility and offer an appropriate resolution, whether that is a replacement or a refund.

The whole Holsper experience continues…
The whole Holsper experience continues to be superb. The price was great, the delivery was excellent, the packaging was tremendous, the products are wonderful, now the first wash and drying were achieved so easily and the cotton is even more comfortable in use. We’re over the moon with the looks and feel of our Holsper duvet set. We specified the super king size to give best coverage. The super king flat sheet reaches the floor to avoid using a valance and we use a double or king size flat sheet as the upper one, thereby reducing the number of times we need to wash the duvet cover. Clever wife, and now bed-making is so much easier without having to struggle with a fitted sheet and heavy mattress. Moreover, the free blanket is a very welcome addition on cold nights because it keeps in all the lovely warmth so snugly. Thanks so much to all at Holsper for transforming our sleep experience … even in our late seventies.

I came across the brand while scrolling and took a chance on some new bed linen. The quality is great and the fabric just feels so good.

We’re truly sorry that the delivery took longer than expected and that it came as a surprise that the parcel was shipped from China. We completely understand how frustrating delays can be.
We usually dispatch all orders directly from our warehouse in Northampton, UK. However, during very busy periods like the Black Friday season, our UK stock can sell out quickly. In those cases, we send some orders directly from our factory to avoid long backorders and to make the process faster for customers.
Unfortunately, this year delivery companies were also heavily overloaded, which caused additional delays that were outside of our control. Even parcels that were shipped on time were held up by carriers due to the high volume of requests.

Gold piping frays and looks a mess
The Tucano green bedding is nice, but is ruined by the gold piping around the edge, that frays and sheds fibres constantly. The fraying started gradually, but has got worse over the time I have had the bedding. I would attach photos here, but there doesn't seem to be an option. The bedding has been alternated with another bedding set, so used for around 16 weeks. It has been washed at 30 degrees C on a cotton cycle. It is very overpriced for what it is. I have wasted my time time providing all the information Holsper asked for. They now say that as it is 8 months since I ordered the bedding they won't refund me. Apparently this overpriced bedding is only meant to last a few months.

Thanks for the review. We noticed your order was placed over six months ago, and the gold piping doesn’t fray under normal use — thousands of customers have the same design without any issues. If it suddenly started “shedding fibres constantly” after half a year, something unusual must have happened to it on your end.
If you’d like us to take a look, you can send photos to our support team, but based on our quality checks and long-term customer feedback, this isn’t a product fault.
