The building is well kept, units seem well secured, customer service is top notch, nice staff. Rates are reasonable. The removal service they recommended was really good (Karim/Ali). There are pods where to work/study and a kitchen area where to have tea or coffee, facilities are comfortable and clean.
Ran away from a different storage company, happy with Hold.

Used to be a client when it was Attic. HOLD seems to be much more customer focused - all details much more accessible and great and thorough explanations from Armeet. Still very reasonable rates for short term storage. Got the cheapest option they provide (smallest unit for shortest rental period) and was still made to feel like a very valued customer.

Such a seamless storage experience from start to finish. The team, Dan, Armeet, James are super friendly and make everything so easy. Would highly recommend

What an absurd uncommercial company. Unable to see the bigger picture.

My removal guys left a couple of empty black bin liners in the storage unit after they had packed up. In an ideal world, no they would not have done this .... but big picture you would assume the unit was going to be cleaned anyway after each tenancy.

But HOLD decided that a 50 GBP "fee" for picking up a couple of empty black bin liners was warranted.

Talk about showing how to lose a client permanently.

Great location and always clean with nice staff. I’ve had two units here at one point which shows how much I liked it. My only criticism would be the car park is super small for the original part and that can make getting things here and leaving hard.

Service was great, Lex (Akanku) on the desk was really friendly and Dan (Ramirez) was awesome on coms, emails were always clear and specific so I knew exactly what I needed to do and he'd follow up with a call if needed - made things nice and easy.
The space is much nicer than most storage facilities, always well lit and clean.

I’ve been a customer of Hold Self Storage for several years now, and the recent changes under new management have made a world of difference. The level of customer service is truly exceptional, with staff always going the extra mile to ensure all my needs are met. They’re friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful—whether it’s assisting with access or providing helpful storage tips.

One of the best upgrades since the new management took over is the larger car park. It used to be a bit of a hassle finding space, but now, with plenty of parking spots available, loading and unloading is so much easier. It’s clear they’ve really thought about convenience.

The addition of work pods is a game-changer. I often have to catch up on emails and work while I’m on-site, and the comfortable, quiet workspaces give me a great place to focus. Plus, the new facilities like better Wi-Fi and clean restrooms make it feel like more than just a storage location—it’s a place where I can get things done efficiently and comfortably.

Overall, the new management has elevated Hold Self Storage with thoughtful improvements and top-tier service. Highly recommend!
