In the UK there are hundreds of recruitment consultancies, spread across every niche area imaginable. So some may ask what we hoped to achieve when we created HiringBooster? Company founders Craig Hillison and Jacqueline Pearson had previously worked together for several years in a large national recruitment company and were well established in Legal Recruitment. What they wanted to do next was build a business which was all about individuality, one that didn’t have a ‘one size fits all’ outlook. They wanted to offer effective, proactive and tailor made solutions – in short they wanted to treat both clients and candidates the way they themselves wanted to be treated.

The company had a demanding work culture that often required employees to work long hours and weekends. This made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance and led to burnout. The lack of support for employees' personal lives, combined with limited opportunities and decreasing pay, made it a stressful and unsustainable environment.

I had a great experience with…

I had a great experience with hiringbooster when I was getting hired for their client company. They helped me with everything from negotiating, talking to me, and making sure I knew what to expect. This was super important because I was moving from Mexico for the job. They were really supportive and understood my situation, which made the move easy and successful.
