The most helpful people I could possibly imagine. We have sold 2 properties through them now and they have worked tirelessly to make sure everything went as smoothly as it could and everyone was kept informed/up to date. Justin & Tom were our main contacts and they were fantastic, but everyone we have dealt with there has been amazing.
I would never consider recommending any other estate agents in Worcestershire, Hills is the best by far

My experience I had from Hills was great, they talked through the stages with me and dealt with any questions I had. Everyone I had communicated with whether on the phone, in person or email were professional. I would hesitate to use them again and Id recommend them to anyone I know.

Hills were very professional in the handling of the sale of my property. The advice given to me was first class and the sale process was managed very professionally. During the sale process they made sure I was kept informed and the completion without any problems .

The estate agent will provide a preliminary contract for securing a deposit on the property during the screening process. Once when the screening is complete you will then be required to sign off on the final contract. You should demand for a the final contract prior paying for the deposit to have complete clarity on the the T&Cs, in case the landlord seeks additional charges or legal action against the tenant.

Some of the contentious clauses are-

Re-imbursement of charges on the property after you vacate. Additional costs for carrying out an inventory after you vacate, breach notices, failed payment charge for anything, contractors costs, vermin removal, landlord litigation costs.

No animal or children can visit the property, limitations on the time your friend can stay on the property, condensation costs and other miscellaneous costs such as cleaning after vacating,

Annual rental increase- you should read this carefully as it involves first and subsequent increases & calculation on the final deferred amount increase.

You are responsible for landlords mail received on the property, particularly from the authorities, which obliges you to send the mail to him on your costs.

Under the property clause read the defects clause- it is very contentious & can lead to complication or the property agent holding back your deposit after vacating.

ASK FOR A REVIEW ON THE FINAL CONTRACT BEFORE PAYING THE DEPOSIT OR YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!

Had a great experience buying with Hills.
When initially looking at properties, Holly would call me with new properties she thought I'd be interested in.
Once buying, I had a lot of issues with my solicitors never updating me, but Laura and Holly were great and chasing them up and keeping me in the loop.

My experience of using Hills with my brother to sell our late parents house was dealt with by Justin Poolton at worcester branch,and we have nothing but the highest praise for the way he handled our sale.He listened,he explained and above all he understood what it meant to be parting with the house in a really sensitive way.We were so lucky because as an added bonus he was able to source a buyer from a previous sale whereby a buyer had lost out.As soon as we had the quote i think its fair to say we knew we would go with Hills and so glad we did.Thankyou

Viewed a property made an offer, was tokd it had been acceoted .friendly staff but disappointed after lengthy discussion and having been advised there was no hurry as the property was "going through probate" I have now learned another offer has been accepted! No explanation as to what happened as she says she ' can't tell me"

Poor service and even worse communication
Viewed a properly made an off two weeks later still no communication and the property I wanted is now STC

I sold my house with Hills last year and Justin and the team made a stressful process straight forward and simple.
Agreed a fair commission for the sale and they achieved a selling price over the asking price which was great.

Excellent Estate Agent, my property was auctioned off by Justin Poolton who did a brilliant job of managing to raise the price of the property by over 33% above the guide price. He & the rest of the staff of Hill's to be commended for the effort that they put in to this sale on my behalf.

Excellent estate agent: we purchased a Victorian property in Worcester. I could always get hold of Tom: he arranged viewings and answered all our questions. Always on time and service from everyone was very friendly. Much better than the agent I sold my property with. I'd recommend Hills for a friendly personal service.

Terrible company to work with, rented me a property with black mould in the bathroom, refuse to send a specialist and tell me it is my responsibility. Also left us without a cover on the boiler for over a year, so we have serious health concerns. They don’t care, incompetence at its finest. Do not deal with them.

Accommodating, flexible and very understanding - speedy service through-out my purchase of a recent property - excellent communication by all members of the branch, couldn't fault them.

This is probably one of the worst 'professional' companies I have ever dealt with. After being recommended by a friend, I had high hopes for them. I've struggled since the very beginning with them and their poor attitude towards their paying customers. I'm absolutely baffled by their level of communication, lack of professionalism and poor attitude towards serious matters that have been disclosed to them.
They do not respond when emailed, I have been laughed at and patronised by a member of staff and I'm horrified to hear that they've recently won an award! I cannot understand how they are still in business and regret the day I choose to use them to represent me. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Very happy with our new place! Becci was great. Super helpful and made the process quick and easy for us.

Happy to sell me a house on Ombersley Road Worcester knowing full well it was opposite a rehabilitation center for offenders of the worst kind (you can guess which ones) and knowing full well I have 3 young children. Thank God I did my own research and pulled out of the sale. Surely, we should have been informed of this highly important information before proceeding with the sale! Not impressed.

Had an excellent recent experience using Hills for letting out a property of mine and have to say their service is first class. Great team there working for you and thorough with checks, vetting etc... Can't recommend highly enough.

Registered as a first time buyer with Hills as I was interested in viewing a property, turns out the agent never processed my details so i lost out on viewing number 1.

Once my details were finally processed they were recorded with wrong information, resulting on losing out on viewing number 2.

Finally, I took one more chance on a house that was perfect and got the final viewing, I rang to confirm it was free hold to which the agent didn't know. I also rang to confirm the viewing on the day and again 10 minutes before the viewing - all good to go. I arrive at the property and another couple are delayed with their viewing to then be told my the agent I need to wait as they're running late and asked who i was. After 10 minutes the agent walks out of the property and told me they are no longer doing viewings today as the tenant doesn't want anyone in!?

After travelling 40 minutes and taking the time off work I was very unhappy I was not offered another viewing. I rang Hills immediately and they put a note on the system to contact me the next day to rearrange a viewing. I ended up calling Hills to which they told me they had already accepted an offer on the house and were not taking any other offers.

If you have an inch of care about your money and time, avoid Hills like Covid as they don't care at all

Recently sold a property through Hills They charge top rates and give little for it after getting you signed up. Didn't return several calls or emails. I wouldn't use them again.

Justin Poolton and the team at Hills have been helpful and supportive throughout our sale. They provided accurate market information and sales advice at the start and negotiated and progressed the sale effectively. Selling a property is a stressful process and their calm and friendly manner was much appreciated.
