The Ti razor is brilliant but their customer service is awful. Paid straight away and then waited MONTHS for it to be delivered with no apology, no good will gesture, (say a razor cover), nothing. Woeful and shocking, really.

I currently have both the One Blade and Supply. This Henson razor provides a better shave than both my existing razors. Very close shave with little risk of nicks and cuts. Love it.

I ordered a gift kit for my husband wit delivery to Spain. The system said that the delivery would take just 1-2 business days. It's been already 9 days since placing the order and there isn't ANY UPDATE on my order. The support team doesn't want to proceed the refund. I think this company is just a bunch of scammers. I would NEVER use this website again.

The handle is well made and I do not doubt the durability or the precision. For many people this razor may be spectacular. For me, it does not shave nearly as well as the Gillette 5 blade razor. And it is more irritating. I have tried it with various preshaves abd brush- on creams, and it still underperforms for me.

Now that I've owned it for a year and gone through a third of the first pack of 100 blades I bought with it, let me once again say how much I love my Henson AL13 razor.

It truly does produce a beautiful result, providing an even cleaner shave than the old triple blade cartridges I'd used previously. I can't recommend a Henson razor enough to you; if you've got facial or body hair to remove, Henson is your all-Canadian Solution!

I bought the Henson AL13 razor. I don't have that much facial hair, and yet it took about 5 passes to actually shave each part of my face. In the end, it was still the least close shave I have ever had with any product. And to top it off, I had razor burn in several locations, too. I read online afterwards that you have to hold the razor at a very particular angle otherwise it won't shave well and will cut you, but the whole reason I bought this razor was because they market it as easier and safer to use than multiblade razors, so this flaw defeats its entire purpose (especially since it is way more expensive than multiblade razors). I also read that you can switch to a more aggressive version, but if I am already getting razor burn from this one, then that is not going to fix my problem. Most insulting of all is the $89 price tag for a very simple piece of aluminum (no, it being "aerospace grade aluminum" does not matter and is an obvious marketing gimmick). It sure seems like they're hoping people will drop a bunch of money on this up front because they know a lot of people will not continue to use it after they have tried it. Of course they do allow returns, but they know that most people won't go through that hassle to do that, and if you read other reviews on this site, it seems like the return process does not always go smoothly. I'm embarrassed to admit that I fell for the youtube ads and bought one of these ineffective razors, but hopefully if you read this review you will know better than to fall for it like I did.

Hensen: Thank you! I have been shaving for decades. Used the traditional single blades, identical to Hensen's, in different holders. Used Gillette, BIC, Henry's--all the different multi-blade systems. Nothing was ever a truly sound experience. In comes Hensen... I see the ads on Facebook, watch some videos, contemplate the purchase... Arrives, shaved for the first time this morning, and a new world opens. Smooth shave, zero learning curve (for me, at least), and absolutely zero razor burn. No problems at mouth corners, underlip curvature, yaw ends... When you think of it, it makes total sense, and you wonder why nobody else approached the blade fixation in the way Hensen has done. This is the only way it should be done. Brilliant. Plus, from this day forward always razor sharp blades, as they are dirt cheap. No more rip offs of systemic non-designs of multi-blades. THANK YOU, Hensen Team!

Bought the complete package of the razor + shave cream lotion etc. was excited but definitely disappointed with how the package came destroyed. They did not use proper packaging resulting the box inside to be damaged and opened etc. missing a bottle too. Customer service was also difficult to deal with and not helpful at all

Upon requesting a return, they offered a 50% refund of the razor. After I declined that and sent the razor back, they didn't issue a refund. They were misleading with their email by stating "once the returned item is received" even though they received it many days before. It's been more than two weeks and still no refund from them.

The razer is perfect it does not matter how i shave the results are perfect love it The quality is also insane

Its a decent razor, made well. If you shave just your face or legs this is fine. This will save you money over multi blade razors. You will also get a slightly closer shave if you're good at it. For MOST people this thing is a waste of time and money. Try to shave anywhere that isnt already smooth by nature and you may end up visiting the ER.

I hold no real issue with the razor, short of the fact I don't feel it is what the marketing team says about it and it is not for me. Regardless, I am very upset, as I have now asked 3 times for a refund for the razor, only 40 days into the 100 day return policy, as I stated earlier, it's just not for me. I have not seen or heard anything and the first request was placed almost 2 weeks ago. Hoping this may help in some way, or help someone else.

Good old fashioned flimflam for the internet age. They liked to put their guys up their talking about engineering, but when I got it and put the razor blade in there, and I gave it a few shaves, it never shaved any better than the Harry's razor I normally use.

I still got razor burn, I still got knicks, and it couldn't get certain areas of my face no matter how I tried to run it. It was actually harder to use on my upper lip and just didn't provide that close-shave feeling that makes shaving worth it.

I even did some research on what other people were saying and it might come down to getting different razor blades as no one liked the ones it was coming with, but as a company selling me on a life-time razor I'm not some shaving enthusiast, I just hate my beard. I don't want to have to do research into blade types and aggression factors and which goes with what. I want to be sold a quality razor that can work with any blade, and I got sold something that's about as good as a bag of dollar-store Bics.

That would be enough to get it three stars, mediocre, oversold, not for me. Fair is fair. No... what gets it a point knocked off is the return process was really shady. You've got to contact them, then you've got to mail it back, the address and shipping service look sketchy and cut rate, but I spent around $26 dollars USD shipping back $90 worth of stuff, and believe me I made those people sign for it because of how disreputable it looked.

They sure want you to pay a premium price for a mediocre product and then make it onerous to return it so you say for get it.

Fantastic product, way better than expected. I was skeptical at first about the single blade system, I switched from a multi-blade razor subscription service and it has exceeded by expectations. Very smooth, close shave and love the replacement blades are so so cheap. One word of warning, avoid traveling with it in carry-on luggage, or take the handle off before traveling.

Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews. But my old razor broke. So I caved and got this one cause I liked the ads. I don’t get any razor bumps. And works with normal stainlesss steel razors.

Horrible customer service! They takes several weeks to respond to inquires on delayed orders and take 8-10 weeks to ship AFTER your first order. That's how they suck you in. Plus the razor is mediocre, not really that great at all. of course the low cost was the draw but if I still have to buy other razors because it takes months to get new blades it doesn't save me a dime.

I was in the market for a new razor as I was sick of paying for overpriced multi blades and thought I would dip my toe into the world of safety razors.

I purchased the Mild Henson razor off Amazon in Jan 26 and first off impressions were good, nice looking razor with a decent weight and good to hold.

First few shaves weren’t great it snagged a lot, I put it down to technique.. then I decided to order a sample pack of different blades from Amazon first one I tried was the Feather blades… WOW. They work great in this razor buttery smooth.

I try and shave every day but sometimes life gets in the way and if I have a bit of growth the mild is a bit too mild and a few more passes are needed but that comes with more irritation, I decided to buy the Medium and if I didn’t like it I could send it back.

Medium is way better for a few days growth, smoother shave way less irritation that the Mild and multi blade razors with a bit of growth.

Mild is great for everyday shaver and medium for a few days growth… with different blades.

I recommend trying different blades RK ones weren’t great for me.

I was looking forward to trying this after watching some marketing videos on it.

I gave it a fair chance. I watched all of their tips and tricks videos, and shaved with it 4 times now, and changed the blade after the first 2 shaves as well. I still don't like how this razor shaves.

Going with the grain, you just end up with really rough whiskers left. Then reapply water and shaving cream, and go against the grain... not good with this razor. Extremely time consuming, not smooth, and you will get more cuts and more skin irritation.

I even tried going against the grain to start, and forget that idea too. I don't care how you do it, slow and firm, with or against the grain, you'll be taking several passes if you want a semi-smooth shave. More skin irritation in the end.

I'm going back to multi-blade razors.

Horrible customer service, emailed them over two weeks ago about receiving a faulty damaged razor that is worth over $300 with zero response to any email.

Not worth the hype. Tried it multiple times but it Gave me bad razor burn Disposable shavers are much better. Their marketing campaign is sure working though. I fell for it I guess. Here’s your warning not to.
