Asked for help Husband veteran told go to adult social care or saffa Woman I spoke to couldn’t wait to get rid of me no help no advice just shut me down as quick as she could and she was eating while I was talking to her The CEO makes £192000 a year and I think this is a racket

I can relate to the reviews on here. My nephew was let down by this series. Apart from an intial letter sent to his Gp they didn't do anything in the way of support. Follow emails were ignored aswell. My advise don't bother if your a veteran

I'm a veteran, also a diagnosed schizo.. I emailed explaining I'm experiencing hardship for a couple reasons and was told that they don't want to help me

I suppose for me the biggest annoyance is people in my family used to donate to this company, who are seemingly more interested in paying staff-wages than actually helping anyone who needs help

Thank you for being inconsistent, inconsiderate and unhelpful

Asked for food help for my family they said no stop supporting this charity what's the point in them being Thier if they just keep saying no all the time

Omg just absolutely useless, front desk are incompetent. Won't help me at all. 27 years served. Lost information.

I had an assessment telephone call many weeks ago that opened up a lot of old wounds and actually made me quite poorly again (due to this call) and was then told I would have to wait 8 weeks or something until any further help!

I hope this doesn't happen to many others as I believe this is dangerous and the opposite of what you are trying to achieve

I ordered an, Essential Heroes Zip Hoodie, Washed Mid Green and waited with anticipation for the arrival of another purchase from Help for Heroes shop but when it arrived it was too big and I thought never mind, I’ll send it back and exchange it for a smaller (M), thinking that there would be no problem but how wrong could I be. The price had been jacked up to double and I was forced to accept that there was no alternative. Thanks, Help for Heroes Shop but you have disappointed a loyal customer along with your charity beneficiaries that are the real Heroes that I have helped and donated so much too. Bitter disappointment does not even come close to how I feel. Thank you so so much on behalf of all those dissatisfied. 👎 👎 Great not customer service.

I visited the Abigdon site today , to look for a Television. But unfortunately the staff was so incompetent and rude , even when I was walking in to the shop , I was very rudely told by this man sat outside eating , to
Use the other entrance , so no sign or notice up telling customers. I am absolutely fed up with the way I am treated every time I unfortunately visit the store , as I’m just up the road . I would very much like to get the store shut down , due to the disgusting attitude off the staff , everyone who visits that place is a customer, who looks to spend money in that place , but I expect the staff our rude , and nasty , and arrogant to everyone who enters that place . Not good at all . I shall try local charity shops instead .

Gone down hill a lot the the styles are horrible name. When I used to help voluntary work the bags and the t-shirts and the hoodies used to be good.why they stopped selling them I don't no.who come up with this new styles need to go back to the original styles

After being passed from pillar to post said they could not help me to fund hearing equipment.

I am gad I checked out this charity before making another donation, I have given to it in the past but I will not be making any further donations based on these reviews

A terrible charity that is all talk , give wrong advise and gives false hope ,

Another so called charity making a fortune off of veterans. The truth is they are very ignorant and selfish people. They are disingenuous, all they want is your data and your personal information.They are well known to be a corrupt organisation.

As a disabled war veteran I've dealt with many military charities. H4H are by far the worst bunch of money grabbing clowns I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. Poorly managed, not helpful at all and to be actively avoided.

Everytime I have taken my donations to the Abingdon site, there's is no welcome just met with glum faces, no thankyou for my donations, no smile, what a miserable bunch,will take my items somewhere else that are more welcoming.

Lost all my support & quite a few others when they started becoming political & returning donations as they didn’t like the person donating them.

In my view items not good quality and not helpful if you complain, will not support them again

SAS contacted them in crisis my husband with a brain injury we needed support for white good as we had to
Move emergency houses because of a structural problem. 3 months later still waiting and too busy. Pointless we always gave to this charity but they simply are process heavy.
