We love the sauces but any time I need to contact customer service with an issue they never respond - currently even though I have the club heat membership I'm still getting charged for shipping even though I met the subtotal threshold - It's been 10 days since I sent them an email about it and nothing. It's really frustrating

These guys are literally the best, I have been doing business with them for years and they have been nothing but top notch. Pricing is very reasonable but most important they are extremely responsive if issues arise. I have only had two problems, both were completely out of their control (shipping) and both times they did way more than they needed to in order to remedy the situation.

Order got stuck in customs and ultimately ended up getting returned. Tried contacting their CS team multiple times with no response. Had to log bank dispute to get refund eventually.

Excellent customer service!! Got a gift box shipped to my brother for his birthday. One of the bottles broke during shipping. Got immediate response from company and replacement processed same day!!!

lightning fast and solution oriented support

Ordered the Hot Ones season 24 and it arrived with one of the bottles broken. I emailed them and a human replied within a few hours requesting a photo of the damage. After doing that, they reshipped the order 2 days later and it arrived intact.

I would easily give 5 stars for customer service, but can only give a 4 overall because the packaging is not good. There's too much empty space inside the box for the bottles to move around and possibly break. Even in the second shipment bottles were moved and in contact with each other during shipment.

I would recommend to Heatonist to add some bubble wrap or other packaging material inside the box.

Ordered 6 bottles of sauce to try thinking that it would make the import charges to Ireland worth it as a once off.

The packaging was a but flimsy, and one of the sauces smashed and went everywhere when I knocked it over, where other bottles just clunk and roll. They also shipped items separately so I paid postage / import charges twice. (Not Heatonists fault but they could have given me the option to wait to have them all shipped together).

The sauces were quite underwhelming for the price, with the best one smashing on arrival and leaving me with a teaspoon of sauce to try.

Won't order again anyway, too expensive for the quality (even without the shipping/ import costs) and the website is hit and miss. Still haven't been able to leave reviews on any sauces but maybe that's because I'm giving them average ratings.

I'd look elsewhere for some decent, more affordable hot sauce.

I ordered two sauces from heatonist.com, and after paying a premium for shipping to New Zealand, only one of the sauces made it (it's awesome, btw). The other sauce had been split from the order for some reason and that unlucky unit got stuck in a loop with USPS. I reached out to the heatonist team, and they had no issues refunding me, not just for the missing sauce, but for the entire order! That's epic!

I'd buy from them again. They may want to try to move away from USPS for international shipping, though - they are not doing them any favours. As for the customer service from heatonist - top notch. I cannot fault them.

Hvis du bor i Danmark og tror du lige skal bruge noget hot sovs i næste uge så er det ikke her det skal bestilles... lavet min order den 19/10 og 14/11 orderen er stadig ikke kommet ud af usa..!

They have skimped on packaging lately and my last (of many) order arrived having been retaped by the shipping company. Boxes were crushed. For what they charge, you'd think they'd go the extra mile. Heads up: Most of these sauces can be found elsewhere - some on Amazon - for a lesser price.

Wanted to buy a bottle of the Korn Here to Slay hot sauce - $12. With shipping, it came to $41 to the UK... Like what the hell lol. I guess I'll never try that sauce :/

Poor customer service. I placed an order on the weekend (when they don’t fulfil orders) and tried to update it before it shipped. They refused - saying it had already been processed which is contrary to their FAQ and my shipping status. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Excellent communication and shipping speeds even during the holiday season. Ordered from them twice and both orders shipped the next business day and arrived soon after :)

I must say that this is by far the best service i have experienced, after a unfortunat messup with the label of a package i've ordered, i got updates all along the way till i got it like 3 weeks late but with a service like that i cannot complain about anything.
