The process of applying to Healthbox online and the way my application was handled was very clear and efficient.

I did not have to wait long for my sessions to begin and I was matched with Fiona Christiansen. I was a bit apprehensive about what it would be like but Fiona soon put me at ease and whenever she had any ‘paperwork’ (questionnaires) to complete she introduced this very nicely.

Fiona is the best counsellor I have ever had, she gives you her total attention and it is amazing how closely she listens because she remembers everything and reflects back exactly what you have said and always understands where you are coming from. She is incredibly patient and focussed on just you and this makes such a difference in enabling you to feel safe and be totally honest. It is obvious that she has a huge depth of knowledge and experience in her practice. She is genuinely caring of you and the whole process feels safe and trusting. It was a privilege to have her as my counsellor.

Fantastic experience accessing the counselling service provided by Healthbox. Referral was easy via GP consultation to this service that was offered in-house and waiting times were minimal. The counsellor was very experienced a provided a safe, welcoming space each week. I was offered tailored, appropriate support to meet my individual needs at a pace that felt comfortable.
The whole process from referral through to discharge was seamless and I can’t recommend the service highly enough.

After finding this service online I thought I’d take a look. The set up into the process was quick and simple and I was assigned a counsellor within 24 hours. The price per session I feel is extremely reasonable and my experience so far positive. I’m looking forward to working with them. Keep up the good work

My son attended play therapy after a traumatic event that impacted his transition into school.
Support from his therapist was always consistent and she really understood his needs and how to work with him.
If not for this therapy I don't think he would have managed to go back to school in September.
My son looked forward to his sessions and was sad when they ended.

We are incredibly grateful to Sophie at Healthbox for the support she has given my son. Since starting therapy, the difference in him has been amazing to see. He has come such a long way with managing his anger ,he’s now able to stay calm, talk about what’s bothering him, and express his feelings in a much healthier way.

Sophie has helped him develop effective calming strategies and a better understanding of situations that would have previously overwhelmed him. As a parent, it’s so reassuring to see him making sense of his emotions instead of being controlled by them.

The progress he’s made is truly incredible, and we can’t thank Sophie enough for her patience, care, and dedication. We would highly recommend Healthbox to any family needing support ,it has made a real difference in our lives.

6 months ago I felt like I was losing the daughter I knew. fast forward to now and I cant honestly hand on heart thank Sophie from healthbox enough, shes engaged, been patient and worked with my daughter for 10 weeks and now I finally feel some hope in that the support networks within school and around us are listening, but most importantly I've seen glimpses of my daughters smile again. art therapy has been amazing and although we have a long road ahead, we feel this opportunity was remarkable. thank you so much.
