Terrible online and customer service.

Ordered a Bosch Hob online. Received email to say available for collection. Took an hour off work to collect the hob... not there. They then said to collect in their warehouse... guess what...not there either!
Tried calling them to complain... guess what...did not answer the phone.
Tried reaching out online via live chat.... guess what ... no one available to chat.
Do yourself a favour and do not use their online ordering service... they are all over the place!

Update 30/9/2026: I eventually got someone via the livechat who were very helpful and processed my refund request. However, he subsequently went on to say that I will get an email within a couple of hours from the finance team confirming the refund .... 24 hours later.... no email or confirmation of refund received. I have emailed Harvey Norman as outlined in Kate's response to this comment. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for someone to read it and do something about it. This is possibly the worst online shopping experience!

This review is specifically for the furniture department in both the Fonthill and Blanchardstown branches. I have bought a MacBook and iPad from other branches and had good experiences. However the customer service departments are these 2 stores is really nothing to write home about, especially after you have spent thousands on furniture. I would say if you are looking for more honest reviews, go and look at their Google reviews.

The washing machine we ordered wasn't available and customer service were excellent in resolving the issue. Our delivery and installation was seamless with Ger who was lovely to deal wit

Liam and Dylan were great,they made our bed super quickly. I was given regular updates about the time of arrival and without asking they even on unwrapped and popped on our new mattress which we had gotten from elsewhere. Top service and nice guys too! Zero mess afterwards.

Kris in Harvey Norman in Blanchardstown was amazing to deal with. Talked me through the purchase of all my new kitchen appliances. Understood exactly what I needed for my new house. Kept in contact with me regarding delivery dates and organised the delivery at short notice in the end.
Such a stress free experience. I'd give 6 stars if there was that option.

So i bought couple of things of HN couple of times , now i'm waitting for a desk and a chair for a week and hasn't been dispatched , it looks like the supplier hasn't even been notified since it's been a week and hasn't been dispatched .
Secondly , Harvey norman might have the worst customer service system i've ever encountered .
The '' chat bot'' is basically useless , a representative is never available , if you call in the people sound very frustrated or annoyed , as if you're disturbing them or something . I don't even know how i can cancel the order so i can at least buy it from other place .

I needed the assistance of your lovetech department in your Blanchardstown Centre Store in Dublin 15. I was looked after by a lad by the name of Matt. He was absolutely excellent his knowledge of all things technical was second to none. His attention to ensuring my problem was fixed and his customer service skills are also excellent. Harvey Norman should be proud to have such a fantastic descent person on their staff at the computer technical department

Bren and his mate were very good assembling furniture.
