Medical negligence case. Communication at the beginning was very good but it’s become less frequent as the case progressed. I put it down to the fact that these cases take a long time but regular updates would have been welcomed. I’ve never seen the solicitor managing my case only paralegal or assistant once at the beginning. I’ve spoken to them over the phone. A friend who recommended them had regular visits from her solicitor and felt well looked after but I haven’t had same experience which is fair enough for no-win-no fee service. It has taken a long time to find a doctor to complete my report which again I understood as “one of these things “ in these cases. When the report came through with an answer to one of my questions outside of this doctor’s specialty, it was against NICE and Trust’s guidelines ( possibly because the expert was retired and not up to date?). When queried, it was referred to, I believe, a GP from the medical agency they used but again no clear answer, it was going to be referred to a specialist but it never happened. To cut long story short my medical report was left with this inaccuracy to defendant’s delight I’d imagine. There seem to be a level of red tape and possibly unconscious bias from the expert that’s how I interpret it as I couldn’t understand why they haven’t referenced current guidelines or at least checked before making a statement a putting it in the report. I have decided to settle outside of court. My solicitor said it will take 3 weeks to complete it’s close to 8 weeks without updates. I emailed them a week ago and only after my email they said they would chase. I received a link to confirm my identity which from what I’ve gathered should’ve been sent much earlier. I haven’t had another update despite sending email couple of days ago asking for one. I really don’t want to keep phoning and just want to put it behind me. To summarise, please do your research before committing. There were all very nice so there’s that.

I phoned Harris Fowler to give them some business but to be spoken to if she was working for king Charles she didn't know what she was talking about but if I posh accent I am sure I would have been treated differently it redicles unprofessional in every manner they her college phone's me o do you still want to do business with us I said your to posh for Irish people ?

I don't think I should have given my personal information away which was asked for... memory password reminders before the case has been accepted.... Now rejected but they have this info !

An absalute waste of time. I chose them according to the ad on tv, I got a paralegal who clearly did not know what they were doing. The defendant wiped the floor with a case that was factual, not to mention the wrong information that was sent to them from HF!

I dealt with Chandni, she was exceptional throughout the process keeping me updated with regular calls and emails and always answered any questions I had with great understanding and knowledge I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs assistance

I’m not sure if they are any good or not. A chap called George took all my details and advised someone would get back to me within five working days. It’s been 18 days now and I haven’t heard a thing (good or bad).
It doesn’t bode well for future negotiation. If you can’t help, just have the courtesy to let me know.
