We found them a very helpful and caring company in sorting out our debts, especially when my husband became terminally ill.

without these people I would have been in a really bad place, they not only helped me with my financial problems, they actually cared about how I was. one young lady inparticular (she knows who she is) contacted me on a regular basis to ask if I was coping and if I was ok, she probably dose not realise what she did for me. I can only express my heart felt thanks to this wonderful person and to the company for concluding my problems in such a caring and professional manner. thank you.

Really good at what they do! It's really hard when you get yourself in a situation you are struggling with but they really do help. I thought no way this is to good to be true things don't happen good for me like this but it has and I can start to rebuild myself bit by bit..... amazing staff always keep you in the loop and offer good advise and are clear about what will happen

From the first Phone call up until the present day I have found Harrington Brooks outstanding. Staff are friendly and polite. I am kept updated regularly. If you have bailiffs at your door ring them the bailiffs disappear. My payments are very affordable and the stress an worry have vanished from my life. I recommend Harrington Brooks so glad I found them.

Firstly thank you for helping me resolve all of my debt issues after reading the negative feedback on trust pilot I was put off with the fees involved and actually spoke with stepchange first and then gave HB a chance and after the team explained it all made sense and I will aloborate on this further
As my debt level in 9k over the next 60 months I will pay back 6k in total and any remaining debt will then be written off so when people have said they con you they really don't yes there are fees and yes they are not a charity and do take fees you never really pay back all your debt but after speaking with step chamge they wanted me to give up a lot they even told me to stop buying meals at work drinks at work I was even told to bottle water as HB actually listened and under stood my needs when stepchange only care about making you pay more so they get a better cut also step change do charge a fee so not really a charity or free service they just don't charge on going fees like HB but either way once you make the final payment the debts whipped off and I have found HB to be very helpful even to when I got contact from a creditor they got straight on the case yes there was bumps along the way but they ironed them straight out there has be a time when my first request got missed but when you actually talk to them and not at them you really understand that they are busy but are more than happy to help to the point they actually continually apologise they haven't responded in a timely manner the same day and they do have a fair process in place to help deal with all customers but they need time and we all need to remember that we have got over selves in this situation and we really shouldn't blame them for our own issues when you actually read the paper work they send at the start of the IVA and you actually understand this all of the issues they face and we face is because the banks actually put them there they only help us manage and help give us the chance to become debt free I would recommended HB to all in need and to the people that have bad things to say then I feel sorry for you as you don't seem to have give these guys a chance to help or listern to what they have got to say and your blaming them for your own overspending and debt problems I'm happy with there service I work in a call centre and when people blame you because of there own issues or they don't ask the correct questions they like to blame others we got our selfs into this situation without HB the most people couldn't even pay back there debt with the interest and admin fees banks charge

This is the reason I have left this lenghty feedback hopefully people will understand from now on

They do help but when I sent a letter to them about a debt I had they said they would let me know the out come but I'm none the wiser to know if they have sorted it

If you are in need of doing an iva. Read reviews before choosing what company to go with.
I made that mistake, chose harrington brooks company and unfortunatly regretting it everyday.
Still stuck with them for another 3 years.
There nice as can be at the start but wait a couple of months and that will soon change.
Customer service i think is very poor.
Cant get the help you actually need.
Would not recomend to anyone.
After reading reviews on other sites i wish i had struggled a bit longer and gone with another company, would deffinatly be worth the wait and struggle

I signed up with them last year as I was at this point nearly £4k in debt and some of it was to a payday loans company.

When I signed up for them they made me feel like I was being this strong brave young mum (of an infant at the time) as I was supporting a family of 3 on a minimum wage and had no money to pay my debtors.

But my first suspicion was that they asked me to cancel my cards (declaring them as lost) so that debtors can't take payments off the card. I thought that wasn't legal surely? But thought they were only looking after my interest.

Secondly I had checked as soon as I paid the months fees and they hadn't even paid ANY of my debtors. I phoned them and they basically fobbed me off.

What made me really furious was that I still was getting final notices from all my banks and loans demanding payment otherwise they'd sell my details to debt collection party. I was so scared, and luckily I have arranged a repayment plan with all of them and cancelled my membership with Harrington Brooks. Cheekily they have still tried to sign me back up.

Please DO NOT sign up to them. If you owe so much money please just phone your banks and loan companies and arrange your repayment plan. They would even take payment as little as £1 a month if you're that broke.

I was advised to try Harrington Brooke's as my debts got on top of me due to me not being able to work due to recently being diagnosed with cancer. Harrington Brooke's were so understanding and we went through all incomings and outgoing so we came up with an arrangement plan that I was comfortable with and could afford in and out of employment. I literally think they are an amazing company and have helped me every step of the way. I would recommend them to anyone

very nice money making system you have HB . i fell into £910 arrears with my payments to you . i pay £150 per mouth so my IVA was extended by 9 mouths. so that equals £1.350. how in my last year you want to extend it by another 6 mouth....? when will my IVA end. ?????so you want to make another 900 from me with only 300 going to my debt being payed off. nice work if you can get it. avoid this company do not enter into IVA with them .
.gov.debt is better. i would love HB to reply to this . i will be contacting FCA about this.

Harrington brooke are a total disgrace you pay them a monthly payment and you have to contact your creditors yourself so why pay them the fee a void with all costs they only after money they charge around 300 before creditors get anything there free company out there who will help pay plan national debt help and step change all free were you don't pay any fees what so ever

I was extremely. Scared to open my door because I thought evry Nok was the bailiffs. ....thanx to Harrington brooks I can open my door without fear

They are amazing, helped from day one wasn't judgmental like some companies are.
I would advise these to everyone that was in my position.

From the very first phone call Harrington Brooks were kind, understanding and nothing was too much trouble. they kept us informed all the way and even call now everything is in place to make sure everything is ok. amazing service!!!!!

I was a bit worried at first because i had so much debt. However after one phone call, and then a call back to me, my mind was soon made up. The way forward was a clear road. There has been the usual letters and phone calls off creditors. I forward any letters i have to Harrington Brooks who deal with them for me. Phone calls . I instruct the callers to contact Harrington Brooks.
I can now focus on my future again.
