I bought seat reservations via Happy Rail for Spanish trains, which were required even though I already bought the Eurail Pass. Compared prices with Eurail and Rail Europe and found Happy Rail’s prices lower even after including the additional fees imposed for using credit card to make the purchase. As the other 2 competitors are not imposing credit card usage fees, would suggest Happy Rail review their approach. Overall, their website is user friendly.

Bei der Hinfahrt Richtung Venedig, standen in dem Zug RJX 863 nicht alle gebuchten Sitzplätze zur Verfügung!

Great prices and excellent service.

It is easy to compare the prices, just fill in the places of departure, and arrival. The dates and preferred times. Number of persons (if you are a senior 65+, you can also fill that in). And click. You get all the different times but also the best prices and the company.

By using their site, I was able to save at least €30 on the same trip on the same day and time compared to someone else.

It is also very easy to make an account. Here you can also find your train tickets (downloading). But they also send you a confirmation to your email address (PDF). Other options is using the app "Treinreiswinkel-app"Paying is easy and you can choose from various options.

In case you need some help regaring your booking or train trip you can call them during the week from 10:30 till 13:30. Use the live chat from 10:00 - 17:00. Or mail them during any time . I had a question about the trip and they helped me immideately.

De treinreis en het hotel was snel en gemakkelijk te boeken en via hun weet je altijd dat je goed zit.

De reis door Lapland was prachtig. Het leuke aan de Treinreiswinkel is dat zij een mooie reis samenstellen maar dat je die zelf kan aanpassen naar je wensen. Dus ergens langer blijven, een activiteit boeken of de reis onderbreken.
Van tevoren kregen we uitgebreide informatie over alle etappes va de reis & onderweg steeds snel te horen als er iets veranderde. Ook bij vragen werd er altijd snel gereageerd. We gaan vast nog eens een treinreis maken via de Treinreiswinkel!!

Superbra app att boka i speciellt om du bara vill ha platsreservationer. Enkel, lätt betalning. Kan verkligen rekommendera Happy Rail.

Very easy to book tickets in another country.
We made a Booking for Swiserland very very easy and cheap.

Treinreiswinkel is very helpful in the design of the trip, efficient in its actual planning and quick and clear with its answers to any questions we had before or during the trip. Travel documents were accurate and extra information useful. We encountered no practical problems whatsoever so we could fully enjoy our winter train trip through Lapland.

Heel gemakkelijk boeken, ook voor reserveringen. Snel, behulpzaam personeel. Top!

I’ve been using happy rail for about a year now and booked quite a few international trips using it. The app is very user friendly (compared to the NS international one here in Holland which jumps to your browser and then you have to load your tickets separately onto the app). I like that I can book tickets on my iPad and they automatically go onto the app on my phone. I also love the points you save and have now twice been able to use them to discount my fare. The only small problem I’ve had (and not every time, not sure why) is when trying to book tickets for 2 people at once. I could get it to book one but not both. Anyway, I highly recommend this app and often tell others to use it.

Het reserveren en afrekenen van de treinreis ging voorspoedig en makkelijk. Tot en met het reserveren van de zitplaats in de 1e klasse. Het treinkaartje werd in een bestand verstuurd.

Ik ben geweldig geholpen door de treinreiswinkel. Had zelf een fout gemaakt en dat is vakkundig weer hersteld. Snelle reactietijd en helpende antwoorden.

The seat maps are very helpful. Would be the perfect ticket website if there were no credit card fees.

I have been travelling with Interrail for almost 20 years, and I was genuinely pleased to discover HappyRail as a platform for making seat reservations in Spain. Through it, I was finally able to reserve a seat for a trip from Córdoba to Málaga, which had not been available on other booking platforms such as Rail Planner or Rail Europe. The booking process was also very smooth.

I will definitely be using this platform much more often in the future, as it has shown me that nowadays almost every seat reservation can be made online. Of course, I would still appreciate it if Interrail continued cooperating with all available platforms and eventually integrated seat reservation tickets directly into its own platform.
