Hancock's of Paducah Arvostelua 

I always thought Hancock’s was a great fabric company. Many of my Quilt Group has shopped here for years. I’ve had horrible experiences in for four straight orders & is the one I’m dealing with now shows up I will never order from them again. First order never came after receiving my order verification. They do not email you the status & if you find something on line you can’t interact because everything is greyed out. I finally canceled because I couldn’t believe then that they would send it if it was restocked. Second order received verification but nothing else for weeks. Third order same. Fourth order In should have been smarter. After two emails to them I received one today saying basically they’d send it when they could. Terrible company when there are so many good ones out there.

This is the worst place to buy fabric from! If they don't have what you ordered, they don't even have the decency to send an email to see if you want the order; they send it anyway. Terrible customer service when you call. The woman who answers the phone clearly hates her job by the way she sounds. Never ordering from them again.

I used to spend hundreds and hundreds of my hard-earned dollars here. They are not what they used to be in terms of service. Read through the negative reviews on Google, too, as that gives a clear, concise picture of what you might encounter - both online and in-person experiences are detailed there.

They sometimes have terrific sales, but their "newly improved" site experience must have some serious dysfunction in the inventory module. When ordering something that has 64 yards in stock upon your order, then you find out:

They shipped the rest of your order, that you ordered basically to get free shipping (vs. $17.95 for an under $40 order), without informing you that you aren't getting what you actually needed. Really? Your "new" system is so bad that you are off by a quantity of 64? Or, is it your staff that is too lazy to update quantities, ascertain how that might present an issue for online sales?

I take credit for being partially at fault here - I had stopped shopping here a year ago due to customer service and site issues. Decided to give them another chance. Fool me once...well, you know.

I received the wrong fabric so I called. I had doubts but their response was above and beyond. I don't usually do reviews, but I had to commend their service. Fed X showed up the next day with a return label for the wrong fabric. The very next day, two days later, I received the correct fabric. I was impressed with their response.

While their return policy states a processing time of 10-14 days, my ordeal has stretched out for an astonishing 40-50 days, and I still haven't received my payment.
