Poor service
I am still not able to pick up product as I have just been informed Haldane and Fisher are having problems getting it from a warehouse in Newry to Coleraine. I have just been told it will take at least another week. 14 day to get an order processed is not satisfactory.

Misleading Delivery Time
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience warrants one.
When I added the item to my shopping cart, the website indicated it was ready for immediate collection.
After purchase, I was informed it would then take 1-3 business days to be delivered to the showroom.
When I checked back on the third business day, the estimated timem of delivery had been changed to 5-7 business days.
I then went to another local supply company that had the product for an identical price and which was ready immediately.
I am now on the fifth business day, still awaiting the arrival of my purchase. Ironically, the request for a review has come before the product itself. When it eventually does come in, I will be returning it for a refund.

Terrible service still not recieved order!
Ordered on line got guaranteed collection at local depo withen 3-5 days, now on day 7 and still no word of our order, depo had contanted us saing it would be available for collection on day 4 and then day 5, now depo is not replying to emails!!

Dreadful from start to finish
Dreadful from start to finish. Only booked with them as they had a 5 day delivery time but took more than 3 weeks for the goods to be delivered. Yes there was a driver strike in-between but had little communication from the company regarding this and then when my goods were "scheduled" to be delivered it still took a further 2 days for them to actually be delivered. Unbelievable frustrating as I had work lined up to be done and had to reschedule twice at my own inconvenience and cost

Wrong delivery, no prior notice, no reply to email...poor service so far
No prior notice of delivery, turned up out of the blue with the wrong concrete blocks and no stones. Driver was nice about it, he pointed out he knew it was wrong but was told to just bring it anyway. Was sent back over a week ago and I've heard nothing since. Emailed but with no reply. We were just about to head away for a few days too, I would hazard the guess if I'd not been here the wrong delivery would just have been left. Still waiting on the outcome, but very poor so far.

I asked for very specific delivery…
I asked for very specific delivery instructions, and I was disappointed that they didn't tell me when they were going to deliver the materials like they said they would in order confirmation email. They just turned up without warning and I wasn't at home. Saying that, I will still give 5 stars as the driver interpreted the instructions correctly and put the materials exactly where I wanted them, well done to him.
Just FYI, don't tell people you will contact them to organise the delivery, and then don't.

We will certainly pass along your commendation to the driver. I placed an online order for 250kg of…
I placed an online order for 250kg of gravel and payment was taken immediately. The order was accepted without any indication that my chosen branch, Balmoral, didn't actually stock the product.
I then received emails explaining that Balmoral didn't have the gravel in stock, that it would be collected from the Lisburn branch and delivered on Wednesday 24th. That date has long since passed and I'm still waiting.
To make matters worse, my emails chasing the order have simply been ignored. Poor communication is frustrating enough, but ignoring customers after taking their money is completely unacceptable.
What I don't understand is why your website allows customers to place and pay for orders at branches that don't even stock the goods. Stock availability should be checked before payment is taken, or customers should be clearly informed before completing their purchase.
I also noticed that the responses to negative reviews on Trustpilot all appear to be the same generic copy-and-paste message, promising to contact reviewers "as soon as possible." Based on my own experience of having my emails ignored, I find those responses difficult to believe. It's easy to post a standard public reply; it's another thing entirely to actually respond to customers and resolve their problems.
This has been a thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish. I'll never use this company again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone. There are plenty of other builders' merchants who value their customers, communicate properly and deliver what they promise.
