Bismillah,

I traveled with my mother, daughter and friend, joining the Bosnia summer trip with Sami Hamdi and it was truly an experience that is very difficult to put words to. I can say this was the best, most impactful trip I have been on. The itinerary was very well put together, thoughtful choices for visits, meals, time to sit and reflect together, not very rushed. Of course I didn’t have enough time to spend in each place we visited due to the duration of the trip, but I am very much looking forward to going back inshaa Allah. Our beautiful group from all over the world felt like family by the end of the trip and it was difficult to part with them.

Br Nedim, our guide- it was an honor meeting him and he truly made the whole experience feel welcoming, safe, enriching, and fun.

The stories we heard were so valuable, the conversations on our long scenic bus rides kept us engaged and entertained (though we still caught some needed naps 😅).

There was a very healing, ummatic aspect of it too. Making connections to our past present and future. I would highly recommend this trip to all my loved ones and anyone looking for truly meaningful travel. It’s almost like the astounding beauty and charm of the country is a bonus to every else we experienced.

I went to Bosnia with HTG Jul/Aug 2026 and it was honestly the trip of a lifetime. I went with my parents (late 60s/70s), my sister and my 11 years old nephew and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

People: honestly the best part. Our trip was educational and our trip leader (Nadim) and tour guides were exceptional. I learned so much and felt fortunate to have met everyone that I did.

Experiences: truly one of a kind. I can't imagine any other experience comparing. Everything was wonderfully curated and we were fortunate enough to meet locals who told us about their experiences living in Bosnia. It's both awe-inspiring and heartbreaking all at once but I wouldn't have wanted anything else. We also got to see the stunning scenery of Bosnia and fell in love with the country.

Logistics: well planned and very comfortable. The bus was large and comfortable enough to accommodate the big group. The accommodations were lovely and meaningfully chosen.

I would travel with HTG again in a heartbeat and highly recommend the experience!

Amazing, authentic tour guides. Who are from the country we visited relaying the history and traditions of their people. Great accommodations and great staff who took care of us the whole way. The story telling on the buses was amazing.

I went to Bosnia with HTG on 25th July, 2026, it was such a memorable trip and learning from Sami and his story telling was a priceless experience. The group was amazing and Nedim and Soumaya were great hosts. I can’t wait to travel with them again in’sha’Allah.

This was my first trip with HTG and my first time to Uzbekistan. Everything was taken care of from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The hotels were very clean and well located. Our tour guide Humoyun was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made our trip most memorable. The transfers between towns were seamless and excellent timekeeping by all the drivers and guides. I would highly recommend the services of HTG without hesitation !

HTG were the best group me and my son went with. Recently went on a trip with them to Bosnia. Have been wanting to go there for few years and it was good I never went until this opportunity. Everything went so smooth. From flight from London to Sarajevo (we booked our own flights to and from), to meet and greet, check in and out of hotels. The package included meals and transport so had no headache of dealing with all this as we do when we go on normal holiday. The HTG tour guide people, including Soumaya, Nedim, and Dino, were such hospitable people. Never failed to answer any questions. Couldn't have asked for a better journey in a beautiful country with an amazing bunch of people!!!

The professional guides enriched our experience with deep cultural insights, and celebrating Eid with a local family in KL was unforgettable.

We sadly have to cancel our trip due to Middle East situation. Our flight was cancelled due that we ends up cancelled our trip. Inshallah we will be traveling with you guys. My previous Uzbekistan trip was wonderful due to that this time again I planned to go back again with my family but due to flight cancellation can’t make it. Inshallah very soon we will plan something with your group. I am very comfortable with your group. Humayun did excellent job in Uzbekistan trip. I am looking forward to have Chinese trips by your group if you plan in some way in future.

I had the most incredible and spiritually uplifting experience visiting Bosnia during Ramadan. From start to finish, the trip felt truly blessed, as if everything and everyone was handpicked for this journey. The people, culture, and environment were inspiring—the locals are humble and kind, with a remarkable resilience shaped by their history.
The muqabala, with its majestic recitations and the sight of men, women, and children gathered with a kitab on their laps, was unforgettable and left a permanent mark on my heart. I also felt completely accepted and welcomed by everyone in the group, which made the experience even more special.
On a lighter note, the accommodations were surprisingly spacious—my hotel room in Mostar was bigger than my apartment in Sweden!
I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a meaningful, immersive, and spiritually enriching experience. Truly a journey I will never forget.

This tour was honestly one of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences I have ever had. The entire journey during Ramadan in Bosnia was deeply moving and incredibly well organised. From the very beginning, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere within the group was something truly special.

A huge thank you to all the organisers — every one of them was amazing. Their knowledge, warmth and dedication made the experience so much richer. They created an environment where everyone felt welcome, reflective and connected.

The group itself was incredible. It genuinely felt like travelling with a community rather than just a tour group. Sharing iftars, prayers and conversations together created bonds that I will always remember.

I can genuinely say that I will leave Bosnia a changed man. This trip was not just travel — it was reflection, learning, and spiritual growth. I cannot recommend this experience enough.

I went on the trip to Bosnia during Ramadan, and it was truly a transformative experience. The organization by Halal Travel Guide was superb and they focus on telling the stories that you normally wouldn't hear, and the guides such as Nadim and Dino were phenomenal in conveying the story. Food provided was plentiful and delicious. I loved meeting like minded people and learned a lot!

Visiting Bosnia has exceeded all of my expectations, this would not have been possible without Allah first and HTG team second.
Dino was a stellar tour guide, the stories of brave Bosnians were heart wrenching and simultaneously comforting. I came with an open heart and I left with an adjusted perspective of the world, a renewed faith in the ummah, a resolve to find my calling, an unexpected personal growth and a fervent excitements for the future.
