The scenery was great, but having to gonal stop in Emeryville without lighting in the bathroom/shower left a lot to be desired. We didn't have any light in this area from the time we left Denver until the final stop in Emeryville. We informed the cabin attendant (Jose) at the onset of the problem, but he said nothing could be done. We should be compensated for our inconvenience.
This is a great trip. Wonderful way to see the country. Staff were attentive and generally great. Loved meeting all the different adventurous parole that take a trip like this. Food was good and loved the white tablecloths for dinner.
This train was outdated.
Very nice experience the accommodations were nice at both hotels and the views of the western train ride were stunning
