What can I say I love beef liver. U.S. Wellness Meats has some of the best liver I have come across. Cooked with sweet yellow onions and garlic in raw grass-fed butter. Yummalicious!

You add pieces of loose fat for no reason and I did not like that. The liver is not clean and needs to be cleaned. Not a good value. Taste is good

MY OVERALL REVIEW : So, I ordered $300+ worth of meat from this company. The order was delivered a day later than the original delivery date, which changed while my package was already in transit. I emailed the company when I checked the tracking early the day it was supposed to arrive, and my package sat in a warehouse for almost an entire day! The weather was quite warm as well, which wasn't ideal. Even though the meat was packed in an insulated box with ice packs, 25% of the meat in my order had begun to defrost by the time I got it. Four (two liver, one heart and one kidney) of the partially defrosted packs also had broken seals, so they weren't vacuum packed when they arrived. This was very disappointing, especially as a first time customer. The two emails that I sent to the company went unanswered, but I was able to contact customer support through their live chat on their website. Basically, their answer to my concerns was that if you don't pay more to have them wrap each product to keep them from banging against each other during shipping, the vacuum seal can "pop". They didn't address any of my concerns about the shipping delay, or the defrosting. These products were easy to purchase, seems like a good value for what it is (grassfed) and so far, the taste has been quite good. The quality of the packaging could be better, and the company should just wrap meat for free for any orders of $150 or more to ensure that seals don't get broken during shipping. Would I buy from them again? Maybe. I guess we'll see. MY LIVER REVIEW : Based on my overall review, I had to eat one of the almost fully defrosted liver packages the next day. The meat looked good, and I liked how thinly it was sliced. Perfect serving size and there were 4 pieces in a one pound package. I haven't eaten liver in 20+ years, and like most people...I wasn't really looking forward to it. But since I am committed to eating organ meats, I wanted to be open and try a new recipe, not the old liver and onions of old. So I did. Soaked all four pieces in milk overnight and patted dry. Dredged in seasoned flour. Cooked up some onions, deglazed the pan with red wine vinegar and then seared each side of each piece of liver for 90 seconds in the same pan. And it was really great!

Same as beef heart. My body tells me how much I need this time and it depends of a lot of factors. I started from 1 lb per 10 days, now 1 lb per 15 days , and the trend is for less.
