Grailed Scams buyer/seller
Made an accidental purchase. Seller agreed to cancel. 8-9 days of constant support tickets and emails they keep saying it’s in transit and they can’t cancel. The seller confirms it’s with him still and he just printed the label. Seller contacts Grailed to cancel… they told him the same thing. And then he got tired of waiting and support lieing so he actually dropped it off. Soon as he did…. Grailed says now it’s ACTUALLY in transit so we definitely can’t cancel.
This is a game they play to collect fees. They are telling me now to return it and pay all the fees.
Great Customer Service
I made a purchase on the Grailed website and the seller failed to ship, despite being reminded numerous times to do so. Grailed support took about a week to refund my money, being incredibly courteous in the process and apologizing about delays. Great customer service, will continue using this platform in the future

Crawling with unchecked bootleg items
The Grailed platform is crawling with fake knockoff versions of many luxury brands..I have been a customer on this platform for several years, and 7 out of 10 of my purchases has been fake..inauthentic knockoffs..Their so called team of Expert Authenticators are an absolute joke..I purchased 2 bags from a Malaysia seller, the bags were confiscated by US Customs, as the seller neglected to provide proper documentation..I contacted Grailed , and asked them to investigate the issue..My inquiries were ignored for 3 weeks..past the expected delivery date..I then contacted my bank, filed a claim..6 weeks later( after the expected delivery date..My bank processed my claim..I received a refund..A few hours after that, I received a email from Grailed CS, “ You are banned from Grailed for violating our Terms of Service. Your account was banned for fraudulent activity. At Grailed, we value the safety of our community and activity like yours will be permanently suspended.” I was shocked..So let me get this right, I spent almost $600, the seller sold me bootleg items, that got confiscated by Customs, and I get banned..This shit is laughable..Steer clear of this site. The worst customer service, unprofessional, and outright crooks..
New Users Beware: One of the Worst Onboarding Experiences I've Ever Had
I signed up for Grailed hoping to find a few new pieces and maybe score a deal, but my experience as a new user was frustrating from start to finish.
Within my first 72 hours:
- I made reasonable offers (around 5% below asking) and no sellers responded.
- One seller even blocked me for making an offer, no counter, no discussion.
- Another told me they don’t sell to new accounts because of “risk,” which makes no sense since buyers have to pay first.
- In one case, Grailed listed an item with an “Authenticity Guarantee,” but when I verified it via Certilogo, it came back fake.
On top of that, offers are binding, so you’re stuck waiting 24 hours for sellers to ignore you, which slows down shopping entirely. Between unresponsive sellers, an unfriendly culture toward new buyers, and questionable authenticity checks, this platform is exhausting and unreliable.
If you’re new and just want a smooth, trustworthy shopping experience, I’d skip Grailed entirely and buy from established retailers.

Someone wrote a fake review and now no ones trusts me. I had the best pictures, shipped in one day, description that handled any questions, and measurements. I had an account for 6-years and support did not help. The buyer had no proof, all he said was I was a “very bad seller”. Enough to screw me over, sell on Depop. Never had any problems and their support is amazing.

It's not safe to buy from this site. I received a counterfeit item. They agree with me, but they won't send me the return shipping label because they don't have enough information. They tell me I have to make and pay for the return label myself, but they don't give me the information required by the shipping company. They're going to give my money to the person who scammed me. On top of that, this seller continues to advertise and has more reviews selling counterfeits. The buyer protection they promise doesn't exist. Grailed's actions are shameful.
Awful experience
Awful experience. The buyer was doing the typical stealing the product technique. It was evident, I showed proof through an official email from ups and they still chose to reimburse the buyer without sending me my product back. Left me with a terrible review as well. This is not a sustainable way to handle situations at all. The guidelines are too much in the buyers favour
Buyer BEWARE
Buyer BEWARE. They offer so-called buyer protection but can’t help but laugh at their mediocre job. Even with pictures sent with their requirements that undeniably prove the item is not as described their reply is that “it is”. Why do they make us waste not only our money but also our time, if they do not do the bare minimum effort to review what is sent? Highly advice against buying in this platform. EBAY and other sites have much better protection and service. Not worth your time and money, hope this review helps you avoid headaches. Have a nice day fellow buyers :)

I bought an expensive item from a seller who communicated extremely poorly with many delays. After one month I have not received the item or any answer from Grailed CS. I need a refund for this purchase.

My experience with Grailed was great. I bought two items—one arrived very quickly, and there was a shipping issue with the other, but the support team resolved the problem within 72 hours
Grailed told me to resell a fake item — bank had to refund me
I bought a FFFPostalService Cargo V2 (Size 32) on Grailed. When it arrived, I compared it side-by-side with a real version (in a smaller size) I already owned. It had completely different zippers, buttons, and stitching. The differences were obvious and extensive — clearly fake.
I showed Grailed all the evidence, and they still sided with the seller.
Customer service (Vicky Chen and Michelle L.) ignored escalation requests and kept repeating that their “authentication team” had reviewed it and verified it — without addressing any of the actual differences I presented. One even told me I should just sell it if I wasn’t happy with it.
So… resell a fake item to another person? On their platform?
Eventually I contacted the brand themselves (FFFPostalService). They reviewed the photos and confirmed the item was fake in writing. I submitted that to my bank and filed a Visa chargeback. Thankfully, my bank refunded me in full.
So Grailed:
- Let a seller push fakes
- Protected the seller even with real evidence
- Told me to pass the fake onto someone else
- Ignored a brand-authenticated claim
- Only backed off when Visa stepped in

There was a glitch in the system so my payment was a bit late but first all problems right easy to deal with and customer service got back to me within 24 hours. Nothing is perfect. They’re probably very busy if you had a slow response time but then again first world problems if you don’t have patience . But I will say in the past, I sold an Izzy Miyake bag. It was authentic the person who received it said it was fake and I was out quite a bit of money because they decided with that person because that person is a big buyer and big seller so for that I’m still upset. I had proof it was authentic. The receipt was authentic, but yet they decided with the person who shops more and posts more items. The sad thing is a person got to keep the bag so I didn’t even get that back. It was out quite a bit of money.

Tried to cancel an order for a refund, and customer service made a point to draw things out at each step until things were right past the time threshold for customers being given their money back. I hate being this person, and never write bad reviews, but this left a really bad taste in my mouth.
