I ordered the Doctoral package and the…

I ordered the Doctoral package and the color hood required was not available and would not be available by graduation. That was ok..I guess. What is not acceptable is that I was sent a high school or bachelor's degree cap and not a doctoral tam. I worked hard for this achievement and will not have everything necessary to walk for my graduation correctly.

I appreciate your response, but my review accurately reflects my experience. If negative stars were an option, I would have given them. Who sells a doctoral package with a standard high school cap? That is misleading at best.

Furthermore, I was already forced to settle for colors that were not what I originally ordered after being informed—post-payment—that my selection was out of stock. That was disappointing, but now receiving a package that does not align with the level of regalia expected for a doctoral purchase only compounds the issue.

Whether you are a small business or not, adjustments could and should be made to prevent such issues. Transparency in listing what is included, clear distinctions in product descriptions, and proactive communication before processing orders with unavailable items would go a long way in avoiding these situations.

The package title, description and image CLEARLY shows that a regular 4 sided cap and regular tassel is what comes in this package you ordered. We shipped the items that you ordered.
If you needed the 8 sided velvet tam package you would have purchased the one that said "Doctoral Gown, Velvet Tam, Metallic Tassel and Hood" which can be found on our website, in the same section where your package was found, here: https://graduationoutlet.com/doctoral-gown-velvet-tam-metallic-tassel-and-hood.html
It is not our companies policy to ship out items that are not ordered. If you need to exchange for the tam package, you could have and still can contact us to do so. But to leave us a one star review for your own mistake is ethically wrong.

Good sizing quality easy to pick up but it was extensive shipping and I had to pick it up
