Gossamer Gear Arvostelua 5

Bought a tent from them while on holiday to the states. It was «the two» tent, and I fell in love with it. Sadly there was a production issue with one of the outside zipperheads which caused it to break in half randomly. I contacted customer service and asked if I could pay for a new zipperhead or a repair (since I dont have the receipts I understand that I am not eligible for a free repair). To this I was told «no». And to try repairing it at a third party. It feels ridiculous to not be able to use my tent just because of one singular zipper head, and to be met with such terrible customer service. Thank you for killing the planet and our wallets gossamer gear!

Bought a pack and belt from Gossamer and I really like the construction of it. It is clear they have actual ultralight hikers on their staff when they were designing the pack.
I'm removing one star because if the default belt that comes with the pack doesn't fit you, you have to order another one and then pay to ship the default one back. I measured and knew the default wouldn't fit but I have to take my time and pay to ship it back because there isn't a drop down where I can just choose the size I want, I had to buy the pack AND the new belt and then turn right back around and send the default belt back.

I bought and paid for 5 essential items for a trek in Georgia. But their computer said "N0" and they accused me of "fraud", which is pretty rich, given that they didn't immediately refund my credit card. No telephone number to ring support....am devastated that I miss trek due to their sheer incompetence.

I bought the Gossamer umbrella for hands-free hiking. Don't buy this umbrella! I took it on a hike with 5mph winds, but with gusts and changing of wind-direction as well as being on a winding road- worked well with tailwinds, but with winds from my left the shaft was banging against my head. And with headwinds it acted like a sail. Worst part- the company doesn't stand behind their products. They have a NO RETURNS policy, with no exception except for non-used. Don't buy!!

I ordered an item to the UK from the US. It was packed and shipped immediately, appears to be exactly as described, was correctly labelled for customs, and arrived within a week.
