Purchased 4x4 grow tent kit. After 8 months, the light started staying dim when the light was supposed to be off. I spent 3 months going back and forth with them, email after email, doing every little test they could come up with. They finally told me to send it back so they could look at it. Then they tell me “we couldn’t replicate the issue”. Then they started saying I had a “grounding issue” with my outlets. So I went and bought a multimeter and the wiring was correct. So they finally said they are sending me a “new” light. It arrives yesterday and it looks like it thrown off of a roof. The box looks like it came out of a dumpster, styrofoam just laying in the box, they left the power cord plugged into to fixture as it travelled across the entire country just hanging there, and the cooling fins on top of the light bars were bent and scraped up. They tried to tell me it was damaged in shipping but the box didn’t have holes or anything it. How is it going to get damaged like that through a layer of cardboard and foam? So now they are telling me they can send my original light back ( the one that doesn’t work right) but they don’t have any more of my particular light. So I guess I’m screwed out of $1000 dollars for a light I can’t even use because it stays lit during dark time. They tried to make me pay $300 to ship the light back to them just so they could tell “there is nothing wrong”, until I complained about that. I didn’t ask them for a new light, I just wanted mine to work like it’s supposed to and I wouldn’t have went the trouble of pulling it out of the tent, boxing it up, and went 4 different places trying to ship it back to them if there wasn’t something wrong. I bought a light to use while they were looking at mine and it’s plugged into the same outlet that one was and I haven’t had the first problem with that light so I know it was something with the fixture itself. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I can’t believe businesses can treat “repeat” customers like that. And I just got a final email from them, “we are going to send your old light back (the one that doesn’t work correctly), and you can keep the damaged light that we sent you”? Are you kidding me ??

As seems common among these reviews: products from GSI are amazing—really well-made and beautiful looking materials for tents, grow lights, filtration systems… nice looking hydro set ups, etc
The major issue ubiquitously listed here: the customer support is awful. Like, idk if they want to help—I think they prefer to ignore you and all they really want to do is sell stuff. As I have told GSI in writing and on the phone: it’s so hard to reconcile a company manufacturing such high quality (expensive) products with nearly no support services to go along with those goods. I’d love to recommend gorilla brands, but unless you have expert help to set and and run, you will be frustrated and probably unable to get up and running because they rarely answer phone calls, if they do they say all the right things but follow through with none of it (I have been waiting for a replacement part and answers to questions for 6 days after having a nearly hour long conversation with a rep who assured me “I will find the answers; I want you to be happy”. Now I don’t believe him, because he didn’t do what he said he would… it’s like the office is full of flakes, giving the industry a bad name.

Extremely knowledgeable but more importantly willing to share that knowledge with the best attitude you could possibly ask for. Very thankful for him.

I’ve been in upper management for 40 years. Along the way I learned the best form of advertising cannot be purchased because it is word of mouth. I have been working with Grow Strong Industries and more specifically their Gorilla Grow Tent division. My representative Simon Crompton has gone above and beyond in helping me navigate problems (mostly of my own making) to make sure my purchase of their 5’x5’ gorilla grow tent soil complete kit was up and running. I wore the poor guy out with countless calls and texts. I spent 8 months researching grow tents to include their top competitors. Gorilla Grow Tent line and customer service is second to none. They’re the best at what they do.

Worst place to do business with they take forever to ship anything and when you get tired of waiting they charge you to cancel the order. Take your money elsewhere

On December 30th 2025 I purchased their super grow closet for $3661 dollars. I received most of the set on January 16th 2026. The last box was on the 20th. 4 days later I get an email from these guys telling me to check out their new gorilla pricing. So I did and the same super closet I just received a week ago is on sale again. Cause when I bought it for $3661 it was on sale also. But now it was $3,049. 600 dollars cheaper. A slap to the face is what I felt. So I try to get a price match cause I’m well within the timeframe to receive a price match. If I’m eligible for a refund how am I not eligible for a price match. Was told that people who order at the new sales price won’t get any free shipping. When it’s in bold red letters Free Shipping. These people will never receive another dime from me and I encourage anyone who is looking to purchase these kinds of items. Do so elsewhere because these guys only care about themselves and that’s the bottom line. Once the sale is made you and I both are nothing to the people down at Gorilla Grow Tent

The quality of Gorilla products is truly unmatched. I am currently running one of their 2x2 kits. I did a lot of research before deciding on a grow tent and I am so glad I went with theirs.

The tent is insane. It almost touches my ceiling! I also love how thick the canvas is. I live in a pretty cold area and can't afford to run the heat constantly. I mention this as I feel like the canvas is so thick that it seems to help keep temperatures more consistent inside the tent and my plants seem far less stressed because of this. Also in love with their LED light. It is so nice that I can control it fully from my phone. I think the best testament to quality I can give is how happy my plants are! They are actually thriving. Can't recommend this brand enough.

Hands down the best tents on the market. Nobody else has the height extension, which is critical for larger, higher yielding plants. Not to mention that the frame and canvas is so much sturdier than any other tent I have seen. I absolutely love mine. It makes growing fun again.

Bought the 4x8 grow tent and simply did not like the design of the front access doors. It makes it difficult to zip the front access doors up after opening. Im also wondering how long these zippers to the front access doors will last. Poor design. Called Gorrilla several times with no return call. This makes me question their integrity. After googling this issue I found alot of complaints on this same issue.

Growth support ( Jason/simon) do not respond to any emails regarding my plants/grow box..I do not recommend expecting help from gorilla grow customer support. Lifetime growth support is a lie. Please look at another product company to buy from

Be careful out there before buying a Gorilla tent, the so-called "Heavy Duty Spill Tray" does not really retain fluids.

I was out for 5 days and a pot tipped over with the saucer full of water. I disassembled the tent but it was too late, the wooden floor was completely destroyed.

The product I received did not perform as advertised, which could be considered false or misleading advertising.

Nothing but issues with their controllers. Sent multiple videos just to get no response. Can’t get a hold of anyone there half the time and they have no interest in helping you get your issues resolved. Profit over customer satisfaction. Be weary of doing business with this company. After dealing with problems for over 2 months they still haven’t resolved anything. Just keep giving me the run around and asking me to keep sending them unless info and the same videos I’ve sent multiple times of the controllers malfunctioning. Just make excuses about how that’s how it’s supposed to work. I will never spend another penny with this company. Zero accountability

bought a tent one year and one month ago lite line model. so one month out of warranty now the zipper breaks on the main door and after back and forth back and forth multiple pictures with customer service they decide yes sir it's out of warranty by one month and on top of that the 10th style you bought is no longer being produced by us and is obsolete we have nothing to replace it with or sell you parts or anything with it maybe it's time just to buy a new tent so spend $300 on your 4x8 tent use it for a year it breaks and hey just by another one for another $300 no thanks besides all the light leaks and the stitching which they didn't want to fix when it was in warranty sorry sir it must have been something you did sure all the stitching has pin holes all the way across the top and every Edge but that's something I did yeah I poked holes all the way across the whole tent at the top three days after I got it because I took the time to set it up and then I just wanted to get another tent to take that one down and reset it up again whatever forget this company

Terrible tent, especially for the price. Light leaks galore. Poor stitching, zippers don’t move smoothly. It’s just not worth more than the cheaper tents available. Don’t waste your money! Buy a cheaper tent.

I Purchased an 8x8 Tent and I experienced odd shaped poles which caused major damage to the joining poles and I took pictures of everything and tried to get a new tent with my Warranty and the customer service wasn’t polite about the issue which now I wasted $600 and they say the have a warranty to policy but it is not on there website. I encourage customers to shop elsewhere. I just Bought a AC Infinity tent and WOW! What a difference. I say if you going to by a tent make sure it Good Quality. Trash company that employees play with your f****** shipments. Because all I said is that I didn't want to wait a couple extra days and pay the $7 for expedited shipping. So what if they do? They kept slowing down. My package on purpose literally took a week and a 1/2 to get to me. Just for parts that were rushed out from them in the beginning. Customer service is a f****** joke. Most of the time, the owners on their playing games ! You can find the same quality tents from Anywhere. Don't let this guy f****** fool you. games. He talks about sub, par, but little does he know. These tents are sub par and old and out of date. Nobody uses a double door anymore. And 18 zippers. I knew from the beginning. I should have just listened to a lot of the reviews. A lot of mixed reviews, I'm pretty sure the other half are sponsored. Or gotten some type of discount. The owner is a complete joke. He wants to be an American company so bad, but we know it's all made in China.

I've spent two months getting jerked around by the two total employees that work the support at this company. Sent me a tent with a shrunken canvas, zippers are busted, do not work. Zipperheads then snapped CLEAN IN HALF due to the zippers not functioning properly. Zipper will not seed properly and if you FORCE it to seed, it just comes undone from the bottom up. They are refusing a return, offered a replacement, and then instead of replacing the whole thing, SENT ME A SINGULAR ZIPPER-HEAD, straight up ignoring the issues I came to them with. My $740 tent and carbon filter are literally useless right now, I cannot open or close this tent, and this company - DOES. NOT. CARE. AT. ALL. They are clearly hemorrhaging money, I 100% expect to see them go out of business any day now. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, I use to fanboy about Gorilla Grow Tents. Now here I am on the verge of tears because they ACTUALLY SCAMMED ME, they really actually pulled some nigerian prince sh!t and scammed me. It's insane.

I have bought 2 Gorilla Grow tents in the last couple of years Totaling $2000. The first one is unusable because the frame is bent, broken and tent is torn. On March 23rd, 2024 My husband and I were attempting to grow for the 3rd time. I was walking away from the tent when I heard Cracking and snapping and then a loud painful screech When I turned back to investigate and I saw the tent was collapsing with my husband in it. The inline fan had turned on to regulate the humidity which is by design. Instead of doing so normally the tent failed and instead collapsed. I Found my husband lying on the tent floor with lights, plants, soil on top of him. All of the work, time and money we had put into this grow was instantly gone. My husband has been on bed rest due to injury to his back and hip and We are left highly disappointed with Gorilla Grow tents Once again. We spoke to a representative, Mr. Symon Crompton who was demeaning and disrespectful and made statements that attacked my husbands identity and character. My husband simply wanted to get the frame replaced for the bottom of the tent which has now been discontinued and Simon's solution to my husbands request was that he could give him 10% off a Brand New tent. My husband of course outraged by this offer felt offended by his statement and how adamant Mr. Crompton was about not being able to do anything more for us and that we should be grateful for this offer. The conversation went on for a couple of minutes as my husband tried to explain the gravity of the loss we just sustained. There was an exchange of expletives due to the frustration as this is not the first tent that has broken/torn on us. We believed in Gorilla Grow Tents as they came highly recommended but there was nothing about this whole situation that embodied who this company claims to be. We only wish for a replacement of parts. We hope this company honors whom they claim to be as a company or we will be forced to involve our attorneys.

Light leaks all over & the company will not even respond to me let alone help me out with this crap tent!
