Turn Your Old Vehicle Into a Life-Changing Opportunity
Goodwill Car Donations makes it easy to donate your car, truck, boat, motorcycle, RV, or almost any other vehicle and turn something you no longer need into real opportunity for people in your community. Proceeds from every donation go directly toward funding job training, career counseling, and employment services provided by local Goodwill organizations across the country.
For over 100 years, Goodwill has been one of America's most trusted nonprofits, helping individuals overcome barriers, gain new skills, and find meaningful work. When you donate your vehicle, you become part of that mission. You help someone take a step toward independence, stability, and a brighter future.
Most Vehicles in Most Conditions
Whether your vehicle is running or not, chances are we can take it. We accept cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, scooters, boats, jet skis, RVs, campers, trailers, golf carts, ATVs, and more. If you're not sure whether your vehicle qualifies, just give us a call and we'll be happy to help.
The Process Is Simple and Free
Donating your vehicle takes just three steps. You contact us online or by phone, we schedule a fast, free pickup at a time and place that works for you, and we handle all the paperwork from there. After your vehicle is sold, you receive an IRS tax-deductible receipt. There is no cost to you and no DMV hassles.
Proudly Serving All 50 States
We partner with certified IRS 501(c)(3) Goodwill member organizations nationwide, so your donation benefits your own local community. Whether you're in a major city or a rural area, we're here to make giving back as easy and rewarding as possible.
Your unused vehicle has more value than you think. The proceeds from its sale go toward building stronger communities, one donation at a time.

Friendly and timely service. From my first call to when my vehicle donation was completed I received thoughtful and informative guidance throughout the entire process. I made it known that I'd like my vehicle picked up within 2 days as I'd been waiting on another donation company for over a week. They were quick to action my request and my vehicle was collected by 10AM the next morning. Great experience!?

Subaru 2005 Forester
I received a call about 10 to 15 minutes after I submitted my donation request online. The representative was very knowledgeable and connected me to the tow company to set up a date and time for pickup. The tow company had some issues the scheduled date for pickup, but they promptly called and told me they would let me know via a phone when to except the pickup. I did receive a call Tuesday evening that the pickup was scheduled for Wednesday between 10 am and 2 pm. The driver called about 40-45 minutes before his arrival and again minutes before arriving at my door. The driver was friendly and help with the process with DMV. Overall, the process was GREAT.

Hi Joseph! Thank you so much for your Mazda donation and for leaving such a kind review. We're glad to hear you had an excellent experience. Thanks again, and we hope you have a lovely day!
Goodwill was great but the tow company…
Goodwill was great but the tow company they used to pick up the car was very slow to provide a tow receipt and wasn't responsive to the Goodwill reps. I called in to Goodwill to donate my car on 3/27/26. It was 3/30/26 before the tow was scheduled and 3/31/26 before it was picked up. Had I received the tow receipt that day I could have cancelled the registration and the insurance then. Goodwill kept trying to reach the tow company but got voicemail each time and never received the receipt. I finally received the receipt when I contacted the tow company late on 4/2/26 by which time the DMV no longer permitted me to cancel the registration. I just hope it went well for Goodwill after that.

Hi Mary,
Thank you so much for donating your Saturn Astra and for leaving us such thoughtful feedback. We truly appreciate both!
We're glad the overall experience with us met your expectations, and we're sorry the tow receipt situation caused you extra stress. You were absolutely right to expect that receipt on the day of pickup, and we understand how the delay impacted your ability to cancel your registration and insurance in time.
We have since addressed this directly with our transport partner and pushed for a policy change ensuring receipts are issued at every pickup going forward.
Your experience is exactly the kind of feedback that helps us improve, and we don't take it lightly. Thank you for your grace and patience throughout the process, and, most of all, for your donation and support of Goodwill's mission.
Easy and quick process.
