This company has very poor details on their advertising
I wanted the starter kit as shown .
I should have read what was included
In the end I had to buy three different times to get the starter kit that included bait
when I asked for help I got a "could not care" reply
the trap works well I am sure but make sure you read the sales information carefully

One thing that isn't good is the moronic inability to transfer the bluetooth capability. So if you, like me, inherit a trap when buying a house (or similar) but the previous owners have forgotten / don't know the email address it is linked to, then you have to buy a new cap. There is no ability for the user or Goodnature to reset the Bluetooth. They seem to think it's a top secret thing. This lack of thought to such a basic concept worries me, ie that usability is not high on their agenda. Rather they like the idea that people buy new caps with the bluetooth function for no good reason. I will use the inherited one, but doubt I will replace the cartridge etc - instead I will find a supplier who is a bit more user-friendly and throw it away.

This company doesn't think of its Customers .Many of which are rural. Who have more than one trap. They come into town to where they purchased the trap. By the replacement pack. Can't purchase a Battery anywhere for the Chirp.Every supplier like Farmlands, Mitre 10 etc . Should be able to purchase the Battery from where they purchased it. This is extremely poor marketing and Sales strategy.

I have successfully killed 5 mice with one of these traps. However, one of my traps with the smart cap has never synced past the initial test fire. Also despite being carefully screwed on (checked for cross threads), this cap popped off during the test fire and does not stay on well. Another cap has not synced in months, despite the fact that it is no more than 5 meters from where I sit in my office every day. Sent an email to Goodnature on 8 September, quickly received a reply that I replied to on 9 September, radio silence ever since despite following up. Not exactly great support for a **$269 mousetrap.** I see these traps all over New Zealand DoC sites so clearly they have some value, but the reliability just doesn’t seem very good.

Product - supposedly bluetooth- / app-connected trap - does not function as advertised and bluetooth "connection" depends upon flimsy plastic component. Going by their own website, GN has been aware of this for years but, hey, a little light false advertising never hurt ...?

I have not caught a single rat with the Trap kit despite there being many rats around. I have exchanged a number of emails with the company's customer service to assist me determine the reason and after many hours spent and various tips provided I had to give up. I feel lots of my time got really wasted with it and the description on the website made it seem it’s an easy to use and effective tool. Unfortunately, it has not worked for me at all.

This trap has been an absolute game-changer. After doing some research I was able to place the trap in a spot I felt comfortable with, and it immediately started working. I especially like the tool that counts the engagements. I have been impressed with the simple effectiveness and cleanliness this trap offers. I will be adding more to my treatment strategy!

Not caught a rat or mouse yet it’s been going a week they have licked peanut butter off the old trap very dissatisfied

I call it the 'sentinel'. It sits there, quietly, and keeps the property rat free.

Great little device. Using in my cool room where storing wine barrel. Definitely do not want rodents in there but, like it or not, they do come. Had a trap for two weeks and already got two humane kills. I really don’t like the idea of poison anymore, slow horrible death inflicted of animals. We do not use anything else now. Fast kill, lazy cats happy with the fast food outlet too! Planning to get a second one for the winery area. Bluetooth told me of the kills on my phone. When I got there, the cats had already helped themselves to brekkie. Brilliant!

Very simple, easy set up. The rat that was driving us up the wall at night took the nut butter bait within a week. Love that this trap resets itself without us having to touch anything except when moving it.

A very large rat had been living in our compost bin for a long time during which I had bought numerous other traps without success. Followed advice from Thomas at Goodnature and caught 307g pregnant rat 1st night put out.

In 4 years this trap has caught 0 rats. Have tried the different flavor baits and wasted money on more cannisters because they loose pressure after a while. Can see rats walk past on my security camera. Absolute waste of money

I bought one if their traps some 7 months ago.
I have not caught a single rat but the rodents keep chewing the plastic of the "chirp lid" away!
I called GOODNATURE shortly before Xmas and left a message in the answering machine asking for help.
Well, they never even bothered to call me back!
Very disappointing!!

I ordered the Good George Doris Plum gin & Kawakawa tonic (4 x 4-packs) before Xmas, hvg purchased both at the recent National Fielddays & hvg LOVED the unique combo. However, was disappointed to receive my order, which included plain tonic & no note in explanation. I duly emailed Good George & pointed out I got the wrong product, to be told there was no more Kawakawa tonic but that I could keep the plain tonic as substitute. When I said I didn’t want or order the plain tonic I was told I could return it for a credit. When I asked to be sent a post-paid package in which I could return the tonic, I was told I could keep it!! OK result for me, tho I really wanted the Kawakawa tonic water as it’s simply yummy, but why didn’t they 1. Phone me first-up to let me know the Kawakawa tonic wasn’t available & offer a substitute or 2. Just send the gin with a note of explanation re the tonic? It cost Good George $$ but for a simple phone call & saved me the disappointment of opening my courier parcel to see the wrong tonic water to go with my yummy gin for Xmas!!
Anyway, thats the only reason you got a 4 rating, otherwise 5 all the way!! Great product, nice people to deal with, good end result but just PLEASE make that Kawakawa tonic water agn-it’s THE BEST👍

The syncing is not working and I noticed the canister sometime activates on its own and I don't know how many time I have left in it.
What can be done here?

Goods ordered arrived over a month later. Ended up in Auckland TOLL.
Left hand wasn't talking to the right.
