Unwelcoming and unapproachable driver. I asked a question whether the bus was going through the route I was planning to go to or not but the bus driver just stared at me, glanced away, and didn’t answer me. He even looked at me when I went back to park lane station looking for answers until I went back in the bus.

Yet another service 51 hasn’t shown up, it’s absolutely hopeless. This is Gateshead, it’s not some rural out of the way place, it’s a town! But you’re very lucky if two buses show up in the space of an hour. And I love spending hours on end perched at a bus stop. Absolutely disgraceful, but like they care!

I was on a no9 bus from Sunderland when it braked suddenly I was thrown to the floor no response from driver to see if I was ok .I got in touch with go ahead and a lovely ladie first Britney then Ellie responded with in a day . It was sorted and apologise given . I was more than satisfied.

Do not get the bus often but have noticed when i do the drivers are unwelcoming, slightly sarcastic when I don't know the ticket options available, almost felt each time you are putting them out by getting on the bus. Driving seems fine but the customer interface bit of the job is certainly lacking

After attending queen Elizabeth hospital gateshead.i was refused entry from the driver of the 69 bus 8.42 am.after showing him my bus pass and letter from the hospital appointment.which should allow me to travel home.he said it was only valid for travel to the hospital.not from the hospital.i replied well how am I supposed to get home then.his reply in a aggressive manner was well pay your fare like everyone else.i have since reported him.thank you very much for your reply much appreciated.go north east has my contact number.have a good day

You need to stop hiring people and start training or firing them. They don't obey laws often smashing past red lights, cutting other drivers off and today nearly killing and elderly man so with that being said. Never ever use this service if you value your own safety and the safety and well being of your cared ones. Irresponsible with a capital I.

Worse bus service in the North east if they don't just drive past you ur subject to verbal abuse and sarcastic comment also beware as they make fun of dysabled children

There was a problem with the app and unaware of this I managed to lock myself out of my account, I spoke to Carla on live chat who rectified this immediately and I was able to access my account and bus pass straight away

Needed to get the 9:21 x15 bus to get to work but u did not show up waited close to half an hour in the pouring rain. This is the second time that this bus did not show up. I understand that stuff happens but it’s so unprofessional and rude to not give customers a warning that the bus is cancelled so I could have made other plans or get a different bus. I had to get a Uber and spend more money. It’s an unreliable bus service with out of date buses. They call themselves go north east but should change it to never go north east. They should be embarrassed as a company to make it clear I am not blaming the drivers they are great but the company need to do something.

I wish there was no star, there is something less than a star to give, no one can give, they have a limit, every person has to go to work, they are late, their bus service is so bad, 94 gateshead is at morning time, Monday to friday, they do show time 9:04 in morning , which takes every day late, not just one day, it is late every day

Just want to give a 'shout out' for the Driver of the 21 service from County Hall, Durham to Newcastle, today at 12:10 pm. He was so cheerful, saying 'hello' and 'how are you' to the passengers as they enlighted the bus. What a difference it makes to the service to have such a pleasant, cheerful, polite driver. Well done.

My daughter asked for single and presented her blue pop card and did not realise that she had been charged £2.50 adult single she had her collage ID around her neck what was visible
She did not realise until she was getting off what she got changed when asked the driver his response was not my problem leaving my daughter upset and worried discusting attatude.

There was a diversion on the X45 22.39 from Consett there was a water burst in Hamsterley ,The driver told us he was going to Shotley Bridge m then up Daisy Hill over the cross road to Medonsley .Totally missing out East Law and Ebchester ,so we asked to be dropped of at the cross roads at a safe point but he refuse saying it was against the law.My friend is 78 and a very bad walker and he had to get his daughter out of bed to take him home .As an old PSV driver i would pick and drop of people at the end of farm tracks etc ,if it was safe to do so but todays drivers are a different breed .Lets hope the same does not happen to him when he is old and infirm .
