The customer service is second to none
The customer service is second to none. The convenience of having an easy, quick option was excellent although unfortunately my daughter did not enjoy the meals very much.
They were a little watery. The meatballs and chocolate dessert were winners.

Wow!! Kids love them
Wow! My little one wont eat pre-packaged meals unless they are Go Kidz. Says a lot about the quality of these meals. Great to stash in the fridge / freezer for when as a parent you need a break from meal prep.

Doesn't work for us despite high expectations
Mixed feelings about my experience. I asked for a Monday delivery and got delivered 3 days before. It was good but what if I had gone for the weekend and ended up with frozen goods on my door step for days?
The quality of the meals is good but my fussy sons don't like them. There seems to be corn in nearly every meal and it's the one thing they really won't eat.
It was a good idea but doesn't work for my family unfortunately

Hi Audrey - thanks for your comments. We only deliver to NSW addresses on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you selected Monday from the website, that must have been a bug with the date-picker. Our apologies if that was the case. If we had delivered on the wrong day and it was unusable when you returned, we would have given you a 100% refund and sent a complimentary replacement. Regarding the corn, out of the 25 dishes available, we use it in four - Mac n’ Cheese, Chilli con Carne, Chicken & Veggie Pie and Nasi Goreng.

In Two Minds!
Sorry, but there have been a few problems with the dishes ordered. These are:
The pasta in the dishes (MacnCheese, Bolognese and Meatballs/Pasta) just broke up making it impossible for 4-year old to get his fork or fingers into (resulting in his refusal to eat it);
All dishes so far (Lasagne and Moussaka) have needed a considerably longer time, either in microwave or oven (this using a high-powered microwave and gas fan oven!)-- the Lasagne was good after double cooking, but the Moussaka was really not at all good (little meat and couldn't taste the finely chopped eggplant!);
Butter Chicken (tried by myself and grandson) was inedible -- sauce awful and tiny little chewy squares of chicken!;
Photos on cover don't look much like the finished products even after increased cooking time. Some were still considerably sloppy-looking.
On the bright side, as a grandmother with health problems, I ordered some of your dishes for myself. The size is perfect. I really enjoyed the Coconut Chicken Curry (with extra time cooking in Microwave), Lasagne (after cooking in microwave and then lengthy time in oven to 'thicken' it up); and Chicken/Veggie Nasi Goring (in oven).
I look forward to try the other dishes ordered, but fingers crossed!
Go! Kidz is a great concept and I wish you well, but hope some of your dishes can be improved (both for kids and oldies!).

Hi Monika, big thanks for the detailed feedback, as it really helps us to understand customers experience of our dishes and service. We're sorry that the penne and dinosaur pasta wasn't great; we cook them a little on the softer side, as kids tend to prefer that, but they should have stayed in tact when you reheated them. We'll refund and send you replacements of all the dishes you were unhappy with. Our oven-cooking guidelines are based on a pre-heated oven and we recommend partially defrosting in the microwave (2 mins on full) then cooking in the pre-heated oven for 5-10 mins or until the top begins to go brown (Pies, Lasagne, Moussaka). There is 50g of beef in the Moussaka, so, it should be OK, but it depends what you're used to.
Great you found some of the dishes enjoyable.
The meals were convenient
The meals were convenient, if a little small for my kids. Kids were 50/50 on whether they liked the taste or not. Biggest downsite is they all took significantly longer than advised to heat through. I cooked the nuggets for longer than the time advised and discovered one of them was completely raw after my daughter started eating it :(
They loved the taste of the nuggets, and the butter chicken was a fav too.

Hi Christie, thanks for your feedback, we really do appreciate you taking to time to share your experience. We test all dishes for re-heating from frozen and use the data from our trials; the actual times can differ depending on the size/power of the microwave/oven being used at home; our oven cooking times are based on pre-heating the oven which can take 10-15 mins. Regarding the nuggets, as there are various sizes, the cooking times can vary from nugget to nugget. They are a "ready-to-heat", partially cooked product and are designed for the customer to finish cooking. We have passed your comments on to our supplier and asked them to try and cut the nuggets in a more uniform size, so they all cook the same. The supplier who manufacturers these for us, has the highest Food Safety accreditation (SQF) which is the same as our factory - they are sealed and frozen straight from manufacturing. Great to hear your kids liked the nuggets and butter chicken.

Mixed bag
I bought these for my daughter because I’m a full time solo parent and carer of my mum and dad plus I work a high level full time job and run a business on the side, so my time Is precious and what I have I want to spend with my family rather than cooking 4 separate meals for everyone as we all have different dietary requirements. The bummer was most of the meals so far have had freezer burn which has been disappointing. That being said, there’s still a few more to go and a bonus of these is I really like the size of the meals for myself as someone who has had weight loss surgery 6 years ago, they’re the perfect size.

9.7 out of 10!
My 10-year-old just said the butter chicken was "a 9.7 out of 10".
He's never given anything my wife or i have cooked him more than a 7 before!
And he doesn't even know yet how good the apple crumble is as I've just eaten it!
