I participated in the COVID-19 Competition, and it was a great opportunity to develop a concept "outside of the box", I enjoyed the process very much. The biggest issue is not being able to read the jury's review of our submition, unless we pay for it. I am not against it, but I suggest that the review should be freely available for all the final nominees and the People's Top 6 Choices. After having my project voted as one of the top choices, I became very disappointed knowing that I should pay further more to read the dedicated review...

Your feedback, among others who mentioned the Jury Review experiment, has given the team a lot to think about as we move forward with our business and mission to foster curious and creative confidence in designs and future designers around the world.
If I can be honest for a moment, when we decided to have the Coronavirus Design Competition support a non-profit and donate money, we lost out on a lot of income. We are a small business and so this is important. As we brainstormed how to make up for the lost income, one idea was to do these reviews and sell them. It was an experiment and you know, part of the design process is experimenting. The same goes for business. We now know this experiment was a failure.
Even though this has been a negative experience for you, please know that we have heard your feedback and will take this knowledge into account during our upcoming competitions. I hope you will feel comfortable joining us again in the future.
