GOBY missing orders for 9 months
This company is 9 months behind on my brush head refill subscription. If you are also a customer experiencing this issue, report it to the FTC and your state Attorney General. Goby has bad customer service and is refusing to admit there are manufacturing delays. They have charged me and not delivered, given me credit and not delivered, now they’re just ignoring requests.

Do Not Waste Your Time
I am amazed at the bad reviews and wish I would have searched prior to ordering refills. My son received the Goby toothbrush at his orthodontist office. I tried to order two weeks prior to him leaving for college, 8/1. Goby help section shipping information shows that it ships next day if the order is submitted by a certain time. Four days later, it still shows Order in Process. I reached out to inquire TWO times before AJ responded with "Unfortunately we have experienced an unexpected transit delay in receiving our inventory and that is why your order has not shipped. It's set to ship between 8/10 - 8/15, and we did add $7.50 store credit onto your account so your next brush head is on us for the hassle." This response came on 8/7. By 8/9, I decided if it is this difficult to get refills, I will go back to Oral-B. I requested a refund. No Response. 8/11 I sent another email, still no response. On 8/16, no surprise, still showing Order In Progress. I filed a claim with PayPal requesting a refund.
***Update, as of 8/26/23, Goby never responded to the PayPal dispute and PayPal returned my money. Check these reviews and look at their Facebook page, this is a common occurrence. There are people who ordered refills MONTHS ago and never received their product!
Don’t trust them
Placed an order on 6/28/23. The money has been taken out however as of 8/14 I still haven’t received my order. I reached out to their customer support on 7/3 and was told via email on 7/10 that it should ship between 7/15-7/20. On 8/4 I sent another email to their support checking the status of my order. As of today (8/14) their “support” has been silent. I am beyond frustrated.
Horrible service
I like the toothbrush, but like so many others, I am unable to get the replacement heads. My first order was in April and by June I cancelled and got my money back from Paypal. This time I decided to pay with my credit card, so I ordered on June 26th. It is now August 3 and I still haven't received anything, even a tracking number. They charged my credit card immediately when i ordered, but no follow up since then. I emailed today to get a tracking number, but if I don't get a response, I will file a dispute with my credit card and go back to using my old electric toothbrush, that I was able to get replacement heads at Costco.
Received my new Goby toothbrush kit…
Received my new Goby toothbrush kit back in March of this year. I signed up to receive a replacement toothbrush head every 3 months. My first one was supposed to be shipped on June 14th. Have emailed them several times. Finally received an email saying my order was processing on July 12th. Today is July 18th and it’s still processing. How long does it take to put a toothbrush head in an envelope and mail it? Nobody answers their phone. You just get a message telling you to leave your email address. They appear to be in trouble based on all of the similar reviews here.
Stopped working, terrible customer service
Same as others, I was promised a replacement toothbrush for my Goby that stopped charging. Not only did they never send it, they stopped responding to any of my email and voicemail inquiries. This is unacceptable customer service for a subscription-based product like this. I would not recommend.
Customer Service is Nonexistent
The toothbrush is AWESOME. The customer service and refills are non existent. I wish I was able to get a refund for the 130.00 I spent on two toothbrushes that are useless without brush head refills. I have been contacting them for two weeks by phone and email with no response. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking people's money.

Ordered my replacement.toothbrush heads May 5th, still haven't received my order its June 23rd. The only response I've been given was on May 14th that said due to chain supply delays and that they had given me a credit on my next order I still haven't received my order yet. I don't want or need a credit for future purchases as I will not be ordering from this company again. Avoid this company like the plague.
No refills sent since Jan
I love my Goby toothbrush but cannot give a positive review due to the fact I can’t get a new brush head. The 1st auto refill was fine but my orders now say “proceeding”. This has been since Jan 2023 and it’s now the end of June2023. I’ve reached out to Goby without a resolution and also to my orthodontist who was given a response that it should ship a month ago. The brush is useless unless I can get a new brush head! Wish I could be positive but there no chance I could recommend this product at this time.
Unresponsive and no product available
We’ve used Goby toothbrushes for years but recently my toothbrush has stopped holding a charge for more than a few hours. When I wrote to them about the problem, they promised a new one. That was mid-April, 2023. They told them they were having inventory issues and it would be here by 5/31/23 but it’s now 6/12/23 and I still don’t have it and they’ve stopped responding to emails. In the meantime, I also had an issue with my auto ship of new toothbrush heads. They too should’ve arrived mid-April but my card on file wasn’t valid anymore. I updated the info but still haven’t gotten new toothbrush heads. Again they blamed it on inventory issues and said they should ship by 6/5/23 but I’ve gotten nothing and again no response to emails lately.
Goby - Worst Customer Service Experience
Like everyone else here, we liked our Goby experience until the toothbrushes started malfunctioning. In this review, I am writing about the second and the latest experience with faulty toothbrushes. The first one happened about a couple of years ago: one toothbrush started malfunctioning almost immediately after we got it, but at that time, Goby replaced it under warranty fairly quickly. Fast forward: this time, we had two faulty and wobbly toothbrushes, and I contacted Goby about it. It took them a while to respond to the original email, saying that the toothbrushes would be replaced under warranty. However, as they never materialized, I started emailing them many times, only to get a reply about a month after my original email that the order for the replacement brushes was processed. Seven days later: no toothbrushes in sight, and no replies to my emails, so I concluded that this promising startup has fallen apart and that we should look for new toothbrushes elsewhere. I usually do not write reviews like this, but I do not want other customers to go through this miserable experience. It's a pity, there was so much promise in this product...

I’ve been using a Goby toothbrush for the past 5 years. I ordered new one just because my old one was looking tired. The new one came at the end of February 2023. After charging it for 24 hours, it wouldn’t power on. I contacted Goby who quickly answered with no problem, we will send you a replacement. I’ve yet to receive my new brush. I email their customer service every few days with NO response. Goby, I really like your product, but you have terrible customer service. Do better!
FIND ANOTHER TOOTHBRUSH.
I, like everyone else, have had serious problems with receiving the replacement brush heads. It’s been 7 months since I received my last one, and I was scheduled to get a new one every 2 months. They keep charging me, but have stopped responding to emails asking where the order is. I was told a couple months ago during last correspondence that they would be shipped out in the middle of May, but guess what - still no brush head. Still no update. I guess they think just ignoring the issue will make it go away, but it won’t. I also love how they’re still selling toothbrushes when they know the people will not receive their replacement heads in a few months. They have pissed off a lot of people, and I am done with this joke of a company.
Toothbrush died in January, still waiting for replacement
Almost immediately the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I notified them in January and was given some advice about making sure it was in the charging cradle for a full 24 hours. I followed the instructions. Then after a few weeks, it died. I was promised a replacement would be sent 4/30-5/10. I am still waiting. In the meantime I was charged for a replacement head that I never received!
3+ month shipping delays
Great toothbrush except... I had mine for about a year and it broke. It stopped holding charge and would not work. I asked for a replacement at the beginning of December. They tell me "it will be here in two weeks" but then there are delays. They promise a new date, again it's delayed. So now I've been 3 months without an electric toothbrush. Sketchy...

I really like the toothbrush - however, the company has some serious problems with shipping replacement brush heads. I always get charged right on time, but have had to contact customer service to find out where my order is. I’ve had issues with 3 separate brush head orders and not receiving them or the tracking number not working. It’s very aggravating to have to wait 2 weeks and contact the company every time. Currently, I am having the issue again. I may need to cancel if this continues.
EDIT/UPDATE: It is now almost June 2023, and the last time I received a brush head was December. The company experienced an “unexpected” delay (that has been going on for 6 months). It is impossible to get your order. I’m knocking off a star because I am fed up. Just look at the IG page and the comments - GO ELSEWHERE.

Goby did not respond to 3 of my emails and when I tried to contact them on social media, they just deleted my comment. My comment was very tame and just mentioned that I’ve sent 3 emails with no response. On top of that, their user interface for canceling a subscription if you have multiple brushes is near impossible to understand. For reference, I work in UX for a living, so I’m not an idiot. But deleting my Instagram comment was the last straw for me.
Update: Now 1 star. I did write a follow up comment on another post stating that they deleted my last comment and that was not going to look good for them. They deleted that one too. And THEY BLOCKED ME ON THEIR INSTAGRAM. Goby this is sad and not how you conduct business. I'm not some random person that is "harassing" you on social media. I've spent over $200 with you and my communications have been clear and nice. The last two were just public, but they were still respectful. Here are a few ways you could have resolved this with me: Responding to any of my emails, DMing me, responding to the comment and saying "hey morgan, there must be a miscommunication. reach out to us at this number or email and we'll get back to you", literally ANYTHING other than what you guys did. I am absolutely furious and doing a charge back for my last order.
