Terrible experience
Terrible experience. They sent the glass without all the parts. Discover this after paying a contractor to start installing. Had to contact them multiple times to get the pieces. Finally received the pieces and had to wait for the contractor to install again. When he went to install we discovered the glass panel on the bottom was badly damaged. Contacted them again, however was given a generic email saying I should have inspected within 3 days. We chose to keep them safely in the box while waiting for them to send all the pieces. Customer service is not up to par and they do not stand behind their product or packaging. I was debating between them and another company and clearly I made a poor choice. Buyer beware. Also, we suspect the glass damage took place prior to shipping because we found no glass shards in the shipping box.

An unfortunate experience
An unfortunate experience with this company. After spending a lot of money with them, I received uninstallable custom cut panels because no holes were drilled for installation. There is no option to specify this requirement so we assumed it's included by default. A couple of thousand dollars wasted. The same accessories, like spigots, mounts, brackets are available on Amazon for less than half the price and are the same or better quality. Also, their website shows that they offer free delivery. That's on orders of $3k or more. They show the product being nicely packed for shipping. However, if you go through the trouble to pick it up, they don't package it up at all...they just give you raw sheets of glass and tell you good luck. We reached out to sierraglass.ca and got better service, proper products and at half the cost. Buyer beware with this place. Their default has been to blame the customer.

Hi Mark,
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. Before processing your order, we provided a detailed drawing of the custom-cut glass, which you approved. Our glass railing system is designed to be installed without holes, as is standard for most glass railing setups. Since no request for holes was made, they were not included.
Regarding pricing, our products are premium-grade, engineered for durability and safety, and come with the necessary support and warranty, which may not be the case for lower-cost alternatives.
For shipping and pickup, we do offer free delivery on qualifying orders, as stated on our website. For pickups, we provide glass in its raw form, as packaging is primarily designed for long-distance shipping protection. Customers who prefer additional packaging can request it in advance.
We always strive to ensure a smooth experience for our customers, and we regret any misunderstanding. If there's anything we can do to assist you further, please feel free to reach out to our team.

Product is great but after sales not so much
Product is great but after sales service was terrible and exchange policy is unreasonable. This company helped with my design but when we changed the type of corner connector, they didn’t explain the spacing of the glass changes as well. So I purchased all the recommended products and attempted to install the next day. Started with the spigots and quickly realized the glass wouldn’t fit due to the changed corner brackets and I couldn’t accommodate the spacing required to make it work. I wanted to exchange the glass for one size smaller but was told they must adhere to their policy even though it was the next business day and I hadn’t even taken the glass out of my car yet. And the attitude from the staff was absolutely appalling given the situation. I literally had to throw out the glass and repurchase new panels (purchased elsewhere as I refused to give them a dime more). Buyer must be 100% sure of their design or risk having the same unfortunate result. Like I said at the top, the product is good. Just triple check all dimensions before you buy. Lesson learned and they will not get my business in the future.

Dear Blair,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you were satisfied with the quality of our products. However, we regret that your experience with our after-sales service did not meet your expectations.
We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter installation issues, especially with a product like glass, which requires precise measurements. To clarify, our website clearly states in four separate areas that customers are responsible for selecting the correct sizes, as we do not visit the site to take measurements. This is due to the custom nature of our products and the fact that we cannot guarantee the fit for every unique project. Furthermore, as noted in our policy, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for glass panels because of their fragility and the associated risks once they leave our facility.
We’re sorry that this policy caused inconvenience in your case, but it exists to maintain the integrity of our operations and ensure the highest quality standards for all our customers. We always encourage clients to triple-check measurements and designs before finalizing their orders, as stated on our website and during the ordering process.
We appreciate your understanding of our limitations regarding custom projects, and we will reflect on your feedback to ensure that our communication about design implications is as clear as possible in the future. If you have additional questions or would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best with your project.
Sincerely,
The Glass Railing Store
The railing system product is very good
Your railing system product is very good. Your installation instructions are incomplete and not very clear.
Yout ordering process is erratic and mistakes were repeatedly made in the specifying items needed for the railing system.
The online payment process did not work. Had to call to make payments.
Shipping to the US was very slow.

Terrible customer service
I needed to change the size of one sheet. It was just over an inch too long and it was only a week after purchase and still in exactly the same condition as when picked up. But the policy of not allowing any returns for any reason, which was not to be seen on the website or when buying, but only showed up on a paper I signed, without fully reading, acknowledging receipt when picking up the glass, and after it was loaded, at the shop. A terrible way to treat (fool) customers generally, and totally unnecessary in this case, since the sheet could have going back into inventory after inspection. So I had to buy another piece of glass to finish the deck and now have one that I can do nothing with and will have to waste by throwing it out, which makes me even more angry.

Here’s a rewritten response incorporating the client’s name and email:
Dear Leigh,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration regarding your recent experience with us. We understand how important it is for your project to go smoothly, and we regret that our return policy caused inconvenience in this case.
To clarify, our no-return policy for glass products is in place due to the custom nature and fragility of these items. Once glass leaves our premises, we can no longer ensure its integrity or safety, which is why it cannot be restocked or resold. This policy is outlined on our website and included in the documentation signed at the time of pickup.
We encourage all customers to carefully review their measurements and project details before finalizing purchases to avoid situations like this. However, we understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. We will use it to explore ways we can better communicate our policies to ensure customers are fully informed before purchase.
If you would like to discuss this further or if there’s anything we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at info@glassrailingstore.com.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again under better circumstances.
Sincerely,
