Wirklich Einer der schlechtesten Seiten die Ich gesehen Hab. 1 Tag nach der account erstellung Wurde Mein account Suspended weil ich ein Projekt neugestartet hab was von Github's system gestoppt wurde. Der support ist mieserrabel unfreundlich und kein bischien hilfsbereit, der support konnte mir nach 3 tickets immernoch nicht den grund nenne warum der account suspended wurde und das letzte war das mir dan ohne grund multiaccounting als 2 grund angehangen wurde obwohl ich seit der ganzen zeit nur einen account hatte. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen Wenn ihr dort suspended werded ist net nur euer account weg sondern auch die arbeit die auf dem war also bitte speichert alles lokal oder woanderst wo ihr wisst das ihr dran kommt. Ich Selbst kann Wirklich nur von github abraten ich versuche mittlerweile seit fast 2 jahren diesen account zurück zu bekommen.

I feel the CoPilot 'free trial' is a scam...

Ended up being charged twice and very tricky to cancel it before the trial ends. No warning message sent, which I think may be illegal with recent rule changes.

My GitHub account has been flagged without reason. I contacted support several times but received no response.
I think there is a problem with the bot detection program. So awful!

There is no phone code for Türkiye in 2FA verification. Even Cyprus has it, but Türkiye does not. The most ridiculous situation I've ever seen. You have more users from Türkiye than Switzerland and you do not have Türkiye 's phone code.

As of 2023, GitHub has introduced a mandatory two factor authentication, which is overly complicated. As a result, I am locked out of my account permanently.

Habe vor Jahren ein Konto erstellt und nun komme ich nicht mehr rein. 2FA geht nicht und recovery code hab ich nicht. Kann meinen Account nicht mal löschen. Support ist NULL also wirklich null. Man kann nicht mal ein Ticket erstellen. Wird immer schön im Kreis geschickt auf der Supportseite.. Echt das Letzte!!!

Github verlangt seit September 2-Factor Authentication, ansonsten kann ich meinen Account online nicht mehr benutzen. Jetzt muss ich extra einen Recovery Code aufbewahren für den Fall, dass beispielsweise mein Smartphone mit der Drecks-Auth-App abschmiert. Mir reicht die normale Username+PW Authentication. Ich will diesen unnötigen Zwischenschritt nicht, der es nur wahrscheinlicher macht, dass ich irgendwann aus dem Account ausgesperrt werde.

GitHub blocked my login and informed me that I could not use my account without first installing a 2-factor authentication. I tried to have GitHub send me a text message code, but there was no link to enter it, so I tried GitHub's recommended method--a time-based one-time password (TOTP) application. Following GitHub's link to this application led me to a site that insisted on my entering a credit card number (for a service billed as free, at least for a time) before proceeding. Trusting GitHub's recommended site, I did just that and got unknown charges on my card that very day. Had to cancel that card and go on a cash-only life for several days.
What's more, I had gone onto GitHub, from a search engine. for a workaround for a failed installation (.NET Framework 3.5), and the workaround fron GitHub did not work.
