A wee bit of Scotland, wherever you are! Gillian Kyle is an independent Scottish design brand creating colourful, quirky and characterful Scottish gifts, homeware and art. Inspired by Scotland's culture, humour, heritage and much-loved everyday icons, our designs are all about celebrating the things that make Scotland special – with a healthy dose of nostalgia and a cheeky wee twist. Founded by Scottish designer Gillian Kyle, our collection brings together original illustrations, bold colours and playful designs to create gifts and home accessories that are a little bit different. From Scottish mugs, tea towels and tote bags to cushions, coasters, art prints and more, everything starts with Gillian's own unique designs. We're especially well known for our officially licensed Tunnock's and IRN-BRU collections, celebrating two of Scotland's most iconic and much-loved brands. But there's plenty more to discover, with designs inspired by Scottish food, culture, places and traditions. Whether you're looking for a unique Scottish birthday present, a wee housewarming gift, a special Christmas present or a little reminder of home for a Scot living abroad, we hope you'll find something to make you smile. Our Scottish gifts are perfect for proud Scots, Scottish expats, lovers of Scottish culture and anyone who appreciates colourful, original design. We love the idea of our products travelling far and wide, bringing a little bit of Scotland into homes around the world. We're a tiny, two-person family business, and we care deeply about the products we create and the people who buy them. We believe in making lovely things that last, rather than throwaway products destined for landfill. Wherever possible, we work with manufacturers in Scotland and the UK, prioritising quality, thoughtful production and reducing unnecessary waste and packaging. Most importantly, we're absolutely passionate about customer service. As you'll hopefully see from our reviews, we genuinely care about every single customer and always go the extra mile to make shopping with us a lovely experience. From helping you choose the perfect gift to making sure any problems are sorted quickly and fairly, we want everyone who buys from us to feel valued and looked after. Being a small family business means we can offer a truly personal, friendly service, and that's something we're very proud of. Every order means a great deal to us. Whether you're treating yourself, finding the perfect Scottish gift or sending a little piece of home to someone you love, we're delighted you're here. Thanks for supporting independent Scottish design! Explore our full collection of unique Scottish gifts, homeware and art at www.gilliankyle.com.

Does NOT contain the chocolate biscuits
I was very excited to open my parcel but absolutely gutted that the biscuit tin did not contain and biscuits .
I went back to the website to check and no there are none , I had wrongly presumed there would be biscuits in the tin considering the price.
I even bought two tins as Xmas gifts
Gutted !

Hi Mrs Foxall,
I’m so sorry you were disappointed when your tins arrived, especially as you’d bought them as Christmas gifts.
We do try to make it as clear as we possibly can on our website and in our advertising that our biscuit tins are sold empty and don’t include biscuits. We’d never want anyone to feel misled about what they were buying.
Unfortunately, as a tiny two-person business, we simply don’t have the food storage and handling facilities we’d need to sell biscuits ourselves. There are also lots of practical problems with posting chocolate biscuits safely, not least the risk of them melting in transit.
I completely appreciate your comment about the price too. We know our tins aren’t the cheapest, but they’re not mass-produced supermarket products. Everything we sell starts with my own original artwork and designs, and as a very small independent business we simply don’t have the economies of scale of the big retailers. I know we can sometimes look like a much bigger company online, but there really are just two of us here!
The good news is that the tins are designed to fit Tunnock’s biscuits perfectly and will hold up to 24, so you can absolutely fill them yourself before gifting them. We mention this on the website too, as we think a tin filled with your recipient’s favourites makes a particularly lovely gift.
I completely understand that this wasn’t what you had expected when you ordered, though, and I’m genuinely sorry that it took some of the excitement out of opening your parcel.

I ordered a 'Perfectly Scottish' teatowel for a lovely friend's birthday in October. She is Scottish through and through and I know she will love it. I don't know what made her move to Essex though! I will be revisiting the website as I have my eye on the Tunnocks umbrella and I'm sure I'll find something else for her. I was amazed at the speed of delivery, my order came the next day! Thank you very much. Lorraine x.

Hi, we’re so sorry to hear about the condition your tin arrived in Karl - that’s not how it left us and definitely not how we want your order to reach you!
Unfortunately parcels can occasionally be damaged in transit, despite being carefully packed before they leave us, but we’ll always put things right if something goes wrong.
We’ll be delighted to send you a replacement straight away. We can’t identify your order from the information available to us here on Trustpilot, so please drop us an email at hello@gilliankyle.com with your order details and we’ll get it sorted for you.
We hope we can get a lovely undamaged Caramel Wafer tin into your hands very soon! 😊
