Extremely disappointing experience with GIG Insurance. During a very difficult time—after pregnancy complications and the loss of my prematurely born baby at 5 months—I expected support and professionalism.

Instead, GIG refused to fully settle my medical bills, which meant I could not recover the deposit I had paid at Corniche Hospital. This added financial stress to an already devastating situation.

Insurance is meant to provide support during medical emergencies, not create further hardship. I strongly question the fairness and empathy applied in handling my case.

I urge GIG Insurance to review how such sensitive claims are managed.

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Purchase premium health insurance for myself and my family member personally(not my company). Since last September used them few times for basic check ups. They rejected basic blood tests after fasting for 16 hours and waiting for them 3 hours. Called them 10 times (literary) within 3 hours. They kept on asking additional information from hospital. Eventually my doctor spoke to insurance personnel and explained that all requested notes, previous test results were submitted as requested. He denied receiving it. After few seconds he admitted that he did not open the attachments. Even after that they rejected and asked again for information. When they had information again, they rejected 70% of basic blood tests requests. When I called them 11th time and asked how I can cancel the insure and what would be my refund amount, insurance guy replied I will not get any refund regardless still I have over 6 months available as I purchase medical insurance packages through brokerage company Pacific Prime and the broker registered me as company sponsored. Regardless I purchased both medical insurances personally myself. Upto now we basically used nothing out of premium policy we purchased due to them keep on rejecting. Big SCAM!!!
