A Local Anniversary Gift from 2,378 miles away!

I am so very happy and satisfied that GIFTORY's Customer Service Representative, Brielle, has walked us through the registration process for my wife and I to redeem this Wonderful Gift Certificate given to us by our daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Brad. We are in NJ and Jennifer easily did Giftory business from her home in Seattle, WA. It's our 60th Wedding Anniversary Gift - a Dinner Cruise on Philadelphia's Delaware River on a Saturday evening!!!! Can't wait!

Great Customer Service

The customer support team for this company is amazing. There were several moments where i needed some help it was always easy to get a real person on the phone they read the notes and were able to jump in and actually solve the challenges I was experiencing. I was all geared up to battle an automated system and was so pleasantly surprised to work with each person i spoke with. What a dream team.

Great customer service!

Justin in customer service was super responsive and helpful! I was having trouble cancelling/rescheduling my booking and it took a few attempts but he was communicative and helpful throughout the process.

Absolutely horrible company to buy anything from

You will never get a call back if you ask for one. They claim they are a middle man and cannot help with anything regarding rescheduling or refunds. Absolutely terrible customer service reps who say they can give you vouchers and then ghost you. WARNING TO NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Update 04/17: After reading Giftory's response, this is even more frustrating. Justin, YOU were the one I spoke to! You were the one who told me there is nothing Giftory can do for refunds and reschedules because you were at the mercy of the dinner show experience. You, JUSTIN, told me you would get back to me about a refund. You never did. Neither did Jessie. I asked you directly over the phone, "So you are a middle man who cannot help me about getting a refund. I just have to wait for the dinner theater to get back to you, which they won't. You have no power over issues with purchases, you can only contact the experience?" And you said yes to all of that. So you guys are again, the worst company to deal with.

It was a cool experience

It was a cool experience. I loved the puzzles we had to solve. I would recommend going hungry and eat your food as you get it. Don’t wait until the end to eat everything because it was way too much for one meal.

You’re totally right about the food, too. Those portions can definitely sneak up on you if you try to save it all for one sitting! I lost the giftory gift card email that…

I lost the giftory gift card email that they sent me. There is no way to get the gift card back on their website by logging into my account. Why? Because they DONT have Usernames and Passwords like everyone else! Go to their website and try to set up an account before you buy a gift card. YOU CANT. The only way to log in is through an email link. Don’t lose that link! Also if you give them your credit card to save for future purchases you can’t log in to giftory to delete your credit card if you decide to delete it later. You have to go to a different company (not Giftory) and hope you can log in there. I couldn’t.

They were impossible to contact before the first time I did a review on TrustPilot. I think by writing a review here that they will at least notice my constructive criticism.

I hope they change their policies and let people log in to the website like normal companies do. And tell everyone on their website how to delete credit cards before they use them to order. And tell us on the website how to get our gift cards if we lose the email. Now lets get it done!

I hear you loud and clear. It should never be a struggle to manage your own payment information, and I apologize for the runaround you've experienced trying to get that cleared.

Since we use Shopify to power our checkout, your payment information is often tied to a Shop Pay profile. Here is how you can handle that right now:

* Manage/Delete via Shop Pay: You can log in directly at shop.app or through the Shop app. From there, you can view all saved cards and delete them instantly. This will remove the card from being suggested during checkout on our site and any other store using the Shopify network.
* Opting Out: If you want to completely deactivate the "Shop Pay" feature so it stops saving your info across the web, you can go to shop.app/opt-out.
* We Can Help: If you’d prefer not to deal with their portal at all, please reach out to us at 202-719-0385. One of our human reps can look into your account details and help guide you through ensuring that information is no longer linked to your Giftory profile.

Thank you again for the feedback. We are using this to look into how we can make these privacy and security options much clearer on our own website so you don't have to go searching for answers.

I would not recommend using Giftory

I would not recommend using Giftory - I received two vouchers from family. The first was for a restaurant. I followed the instructions and confirmed with the restaurant but the voucher did not end up working when I paid. I then tried to refund the voucher to the original purchaser through Giftory, but this took several weeks and a lot of back and forth. They then wouldn't let me refund the second voucher because 14 days had passed.

Thank you for providing your feedback. I am sorry for the issues and the length of time it took to get this sorted out, but I do want to present the facts. A gift card was requested for Angler on January 15th and we sent it to you on January 21. The restaurant mistakenly zeroed out the balance of the gift card without our knowledge which is why it did not work at the restaurant.

Unfortunately, it took quite a bit of back and forth for the restaurant to figure out what had happened and as soon as it was sorted out we refunded the original purchaser for you.

For the second gift card, our refund policy is clear and vouchers are not eligible for refunds after 14 days, so we are just adhering to our policy.

I am sorry for the issue with the restaurant removing the balance from you gift card and the time it took for them to sort that out. I would be happy to further make this right for you if you give us a call at 202-719-0385 and ask for Justin or Miranda.
