I have heard how wonderful Gift Card Granny is for discount gifts cards. They represent 3rd party resellers including Gift Card Spread. I enrolled at the end of December 2017 to buy gift cards. I bought a total of 4 gift cards. The 2 that I bought from Gift Card Spread were fraudulent. It took several days to get my money back for one of them and I had to send the gift card back at my expense to get the credit. The 2nd one they refused to refund my money since I was out of their 60 days window for refunds. There should never be a timeline for a refund when a company sells you something that is fraudulent. The worst is that I have found you can use a fraudulent gift card once before it is flagged and deactivated.You don't know it until you try to use it again and told it has ben frozen or deactivated. Gift Card Granny was not any help either, even after I told them about all the complaints Gift Card Spread has received on Google reviews and with the BBB. The BBB has advised Gift Card Spread is not accredited with them, and they have been given a C rating. Gift Card Spread outlined procedures they intended to implement to the BBB, but the BBB has found they have not followed through and are continuing to monitor them due to continuing complaints. Buyer beware when you get gift cards through Gift Card Granny and especially Gift Card Spread one of their 3rd party resellers. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get credit for the second fraudulent gift card.

I ordered a $50 Pizza hut card. It took a full day to receive it, but it was legit. I initially opted to have them text me to verify my # but they called instead, which was a bit of an annoyance. They did, however, promptly send an email with instructions as to how and verify the # after missing this call. The guy said my # did not match what was showing for my billing on the credit card I used, but apparently he got it straightened out because an hour or so later I got the card and it worked.

Do not trust them. I was scammed. I sold them a giftcard in December and it is now the 19th of January and they have not paid me for the giftcard. Every time I ask the status of their payment to me, I get "we have forwarded your request to the appropriate department and will get back to you." They are not affiliated with the BBB so there is not much I can do. They should be shut down.

Bought 2 Charming Charlie cards for 100 dollars. Store did not accept the cards saying there was no money on the cards. Customer service after researching for 1 week responded they cant do anything because it was over 60 days that I had bought the cards. Basically lost my money. I always knew the Federal law doesn't allow any gift card to expire regardless of time. I will never buy at their site again.

It was a good deal - Got 20% additional discount and was a very quick and smooth transaction. Didn't had any issue.

This place is a scam, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Dont trust this company

Bought $130 Macy gift and of ZERO balance when using it.
Company refuse to refund because card was redeemed on the same day of purchase.

Update: company investigate on the case and provide full refund of purchase after 50 days of purchase.

This group sells you a gift card at a minor discount, waits a while, then redeems the remaining gift card amount in Arizona for cash. It's a scam, plain and simple. If you manage to spend the entire amount immediately, you might manage to avoid this, but otherwise expect to pay more than the value you'll get.

I suspect this company collects your personal information and credit card numbers. My wife placed an order, her card was charged and the order was canceled. They claimed that the bank did not verify her information. Then I placed an identical order with the same result. They are either grossly incometent or running a scam.

I have now purchased over $4,000 in Hyatt gift cards through them. I have only had a few minor problems, but in the end have saved a lot of money. (From 12.00% to 17.65%.)
Yes, there have been a few that were "frozen" or had no card balance, but those issues were resolved (though I had to argue a bit over one of the cards, and they conducted "further investigation" to resolve it).
But I don't think you can blame the company, as it is quite possible that the original seller to their site used the card balances after they sold them to giftcardspead.com.
Keep in mind that there is a specific warranty period following each sale. Beyond that warranty period, you're SOL if there is a problem with the card.
DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO USE UP THE BALANCE IN FULL WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
In fact, do not purchase more than you can redeem at one time on one card.
Overall, this is a great site...and if the deal is hot, jump on it!
(On a side note...DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GIFTME.CARDS...they are a total scam)

Beware! I purchased 4 $50 Logan's Roadhouse egift cards and 4 Panera $25 egift cards to use while we were at Myrtle Beach. I checked the Logans Roadhouse cards and they were all good (because of a previous issue that was resolved) 2 days later...we go to Logans and eat. Bill was $88. I gave the egift cards and the balance was 0. Upon checking all the balances were 0. Where did the money go???? We used the panera just fine no issues. If I can get my money back this time I am done with them!!

Don't use them. I ordered a $400 gift card yesterday afternoon, they debited my bank account almost immediately. I wish I had read their fine print. Apparently an electronic gift card takes 1-3 business days to receive. Seriously? Then, the order was just cancelled this morning, absolutely no reason given. Again, fine print says hopefully I'll see my $400 within the next week or two. Bulls****.

Not a good place to sell gift cards, try ej giftcards instead

Never using Gift Card Spread (partner of Gift Card Granny) again. My first time using both and my order of a $25 Panera email gift card for the price of $19.26 was cancelled and my credit card refunded. No explanation provided. Gee....it was for a gift. I will buy gift cards from reputable stores from now own. Paying full price is better than this service.

My $50 gift card was worth .12 cents the very first time I went to use it. They were unwilling to help because I was past their 60 day guarantee. Look elsewhere! Giftcard Zen was much more responsive when I had a similar issue!

I just placed 2 orders with GCS today, and both were rejected. I figured simply that a mistake had been made with my CC info or somehow when automatic data was entered in the 2nd section, my personal info, something got overwritten above. So, I was very careful when I tried it the 2nd time, and they cancelled my order - a second time. Very bad company, very disreputable. How can you do business with somebody who simply cancels your orders for no reason?

Definitely not my "go-to" site as I've had problems with several gift cards purchased. However, I must give them props as the problems were resolved in a reasonable amount of time with limited effort on my part. But if you're not comfortable with an out-of-country Customer Service department (I'm guessing deep in the heart of India) give this site a pass.

Purchase three batch of GC. One of them worth 878 initially but upon first used,immiedately disappeared. Contact numerous time without resolve with run arounds like you should contact the GC issuer, but because purchase not directly but through GC spread is consider 3rd party that GC issuer would not investigate. The GC in issue was somehow redeem in authorized before the 60 day but GC spread did not honor their policy, they insist that the card was used by me for the same location - which was NOT true after talking to GC issue record but GC spread refused to honor. Avoid it or at your own risk lost over $600... such a night mirror
