FAILURE TO DELIVER of a Uniqlo e-gift since April 9
I purchased a Uniqlo e-gift on April 9, but the redemption code or voucher was never sent, even after 6 emails and contact form submissions, all of which went unanswered. I already sent a demand letter for a full refund.
If I still don't get a reply, I will just ask DTI to mediate; I have had one experience with Shopee before, which was resolved thanks to the government agency's mediation.
If not, there goes my hard-earned money.
DTI ought to take notice.
Tip for those who have been scammed and would like to avoid being scammed: 1) pay digitally, 2) if you don't get the product, reach out to the e-commerce seller and involve the DTI.
If you paid by credit card, apply ASAP for a card dispute.
GIFTAWAY is a big FRAUD.
They don't even deserve a star.
My mistake - I should have checked the reviews here on Trustpilot.
I will add my voice - AVOID GIFTAWAY AT ALL COST!!!
UPDATE Apr 20'26: Only after a final demand email, a copy of which was furnished to the government agencies, did Giftaway have the decency to respond.
