At Vision PVC Ltd, we have been using 'Bison' and primarily their 'Genesis' Vertical Sliding Sash for a number of years. We were initially impressed by the appearance, aesthetics and functionality of the product and were pleased that all this came at a reasonable price!!!!! Only the test of time would prove if we had made the right decision and safe to say, after now having fitted dozens of these windows, we cannot recommend highly enough. We have rarely had issues with this product and on the odd occasion where a problem has arisen, Bison have always been supportive in resolving. Due to this type of service and support we have formed a great relationship, from office staff, to manufacturing and deliveries and again, can only highly recommend!!!!!!

We are a high end retail installation business based in Leicestershire, we have been dealing with Bison Frames (uk) Ltd. for a number of years, initially buying their Vertical sliders and now also their flush casement windows. As a discerning installer quality and service is paramount to us and this is evident in everything Bison do! We are particularly impressed with the investment they have made in machinery providing perfect welds and timber welded joints. Their windows are quite simply some of the best fabricated frames in the industry. We have recently won a national installer award featuring Genesis Flush casement bay windows, the judges where impressed with the quality of the windows along with the installation.

As we do buy quite a few frames occasionally things go wrong but whatever problems occur they are swiftly and efficiently put right.

I’ll begin this review by saying that our experience with their products has been exceptional. We’ve particularly appreciated the standout aesthetic appeal as well as the impressive energy performance of the installations.

However, the after-sales experience has unfortunately not lived up to the same standard. After approximately four and a half years in our current property, we noticed that one of the glass panels in our bi-fold door had developed a broken seal, resulting in internal condensation.

Rather than contacting the builder, we decided to approach Bison Frames directly to streamline the process, especially as we had previously discussed sourcing frames with internal blinds from them (though we eventually opted for French shutters instead).

What followed was an internal escalation within the company, culminating in a response from a Director, whose tone and choice of language were, frankly, inappropriate and unprofessional. When I raised concern over the manner in which the reply was delivered, the Director responded with further dismissive and unnecessarily confrontational remarks, which seemed out of place in a professional context.

We would caution potential customers to consider these aspects before engaging with this business. Upon further research, we’ve observed other reviews that reflect similar experiences with the conduct of this particular individual.

I am happy to share the full email trails for receipts of this for anyone that asks, just with the personal details of those involved redacted.

The owner has responded, but unfortunately did not address the actual concerns I raised. My complaint was not about the points he mentioned, but rather about the unprofessional tone and language he used in his communication. Additionally, while he now suggests offering a replacement at cost, his earlier response made it clear he was unwilling to engage further. Regarding the mention of CRA, I simply requested pricing for a replacement unit and stated that if this wasn’t possible, I would need to consider other options, including contacting the CRA.

In addition, mentions about my past reviews. Several are 1* because that reflects the service received from those businesses and in every single case evidence was provided and the company admitted their mistakes and made it right.

Or does this business owner believe leaving a pregnant women at the side of the road for half a day is acceptable? Only further highlights the unprofessional nature of this individual.

Excellent quality windows, delivered on time as promised. All supported by a helpful and friendly team. Will 100% use again and recommend.

Great service and great product. They supplied windows and sliding doors for my entire house and when I asked for them to store the windows because my builders hadn't finished they did without hesitation.Communication was excellent and they even supplied a bespoke Apex window which looks amazing. I would highly recommend Bison Frames to anyone.

I approached Genesis initially to supply all my windows for a new build. I have had first class service from start to finish, especially from Marcus. I also got to speak to several others in the company over a period of time. Nothing was too much trouble and pretty much everyone was client focused. The product is of high quality and I am very happy with the windows supplied. Mix of vertical sliders and sash windows.

12 Vertical Sliders purchased and all are working and looking great. 1 window required some attention which was swiftly sorted without a battle.

We visited Bison Frames (UK) Ltd's. stand at the Homebuilding Show at Harrogate. I’m pleased we did because the casement windows and Warmcore bi-fold door that Bison supplied are excellent and have made our home extension everything we hoped it would be.
Support and attention to detail are to a very high standard and the two colour option we chose is a nice feature.

We must have tried every company in Yorkshire looking for windows for our New Build. From the very first contact, this company has been nothing short of superb! From Sales, Accounts, Customer Service - across all departments, they have looked after us from start to finish.

The product is far superior to anything we have seen. We are thrilled with our windows. Everyone who visits comments on them. We have no hesitation in recommending this company and it’s windows. If you want a superior window / bifold door, attention to detail and a high level of personal service then look no further. Worth every penny!

Excellent product (Genesis Flush Sash) and service. We have a period brick house with > 20 windows. We desperately wanted windows that looked like wood and were in keeping with the property but without the ongoing maintenance. We were very wary about changing to UPVC and looked at many other manufacturers before choosing. We are delighted we went with Bison Genesis range. We had them custom coloured and had acoustic glass as we live near a busy road. They are absolutely fantastic - high quality, quiet and look beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend the company and the windows!

Bison provided a more competitive price than my local frames manufacturer/supplier, which was already a good price.

From the outset the customer service was top notch and I was given help, advice and support from Martyn and Marcus all the way through. When we had a small issue with installation they were available on the phone, even on a Saturday, in order to resolve it.

Really pleased with the quality of the Genesis frames, which are flush and foiled, and look like authentic wooden frames. Great fit for a character property.

Bison have been a really great company to order windows from. An excellent product,(flush sash windows) finished really well and joins that can hardly be seen compared to many other companies offering the same profiles.
