I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by GDEX Malaysia.
I shipped an important parcel from the UK to Malaysia through a UK-based courier company. Once the parcel arrived in Malaysia, GDEX was assigned as the local delivery partner. I was given a delivery date of 29/05/2026 with an estimated delivery timeframe between 9AM–6PM, along with a tracking number to monitor the parcel.
As I am currently based in the UK, I arranged for my parents in Malaysia to stay home and receive the parcel on my behalf. They literally spent the entire day waiting in the living room from morning until night just to make sure they would not miss the delivery.
By 8PM Malaysia time, the parcel still had not arrived. The tracking system only showed “Inbound to Destination” at around 4PM, with absolutely no further updates. There was no notification, no delay alert, no explanation, and no courtesy call or message informing us that delivery would not happen that day.
What made the experience even worse was GDEX’s terrible customer service. I tried calling multiple times but could not reach a single person. Their so-called WhatsApp customer support was completely useless — only an automated bot that could not answer basic questions or provide any real assistance. They claim to provide support for 24/7, but nobody was actually available to help. It is incredibly frustrating when customers cannot even get a simple update regarding their own parcel.
I eventually had to contact the original UK courier company myself just to find out what was happening. They informed me that GDEX had simply failed to complete the delivery today. Despite this, GDEX did not bother updating the tracking system properly, sending an email, or informing customers that the delivery had been postponed or cancelled.
This level of service is highly unprofessional. Customers should not have to waste an entire day waiting around with zero communication or accountability from the delivery company. The lack of transparency, poor coordination, misleading tracking updates, and inaccessible customer service reflect extremely badly on GDEX.
Even now, nobody can tell me when the parcel will actually be delivered.
Very disappointing experience and definitely not a courier service I would trust again.
