What a great experience I have had with this small but dedicated shop. The laptops are pristine and are great spec and fast as lighting. Just factor i. Delivery when ordering as it will take slightly longer than the big boys but you will be overjoyed with the results

Excellent price- I was able to pick and choose what I wanted on my laptop. Only problem I had was how long it took to get to me, however they did let me know why it was taking so long.

These guys make it so easy to build your desired laptop, for what you actually need, very simple steps, I got exactly what I needed with a great warranty for a fraction of the price on the high street. perfect

Second time I've a laptop from these guys, nothing wrong with first one, just needed to update to windows 11 due to business. The screen packed up on first one but these guys fixed it within 10 days (including postal time) under the guarantee. A lot of computer power for a small cost compared to bigger companies.

Just let me explain first why not 5 stars. I ordered my laptop on 10 October and received it on 17 November, contrary to what advertised on website. Lack of parts and staff shortages were given as main reasons. Now, this would not have been too much of a problem if the website had been upfront about this potential eventuality. In the end they replied to all my emails quite promptly but, as I said, some proactive clarity about timescales would have been appreciated. Anyway, at the net of any durability issue (it is early days), I must admit the laptop I have received has met all the required specs and looks like new. It is fast, the screen works perfectly, the processor it’s compatible with Windows 11 as requested (Intel i5 Gen8 ), it arrived well packaged with useful maintenance info. Crucially a new laptop with same specs would have costed way more that what Gadget Centre charge. Would I order from the company again? YES DEFINITELY. Well done, get timescales and phone reception sorted and you are a 5 star outfit as far as I am concerned.

I ordered a gaming laptop from The Gadget Centre on 6th October and was invoiced on that date with the expectation set by them that delivery would be in 3-7 days.

I followed up after 3 weeks of hearing nothing, threatening to cancel my credit card payment. I received both an automated and, 4 minutes later, a personalised reply from them, but no specific date for delivery. I followed up a few days later and was told it would be a few days.

The laptop did arrive about a month after I paid for it. The machine and peripherals (Mouse and USB extender) are working well and so far meets almost all of my expectations. They also sent a follow up mail with information about the 3 yr warranty that I had purchased for the machine and soliciting reviews on their performance.

I was really worried that their offer was too good to be true, but with patience and good customer service from them in response to my concerns everything has turned out ok.

It would be great if The Gadget Centre sent out information about expected delivery dates on invoicing, if they know that their delay in fulfilling an order is going to be as long as it was in my case.

Further their phone customer service line has been discontinued, further raising suspicions that they might be scammers. They are not scammers, but I was really worried. Hold on, they do deliver.

A little late with the delivery but well worth the wait.
Good comms to keep us updated.
Everything looks brand new.
Quality job all round.

The laptop looks brand new,and works like a new one it arrive extremely well packed and well protected,it exceeded my expectations

Took a month for my laptop to arrive and not great communication for the delay. The machine has arrived as expected in terms of the specification so maybe they are a victim of their success?

Really great product. I had a problem with the battery life. GC checked it out for me and confirmed. So I sent it back for a new battery and it was returned in 5 days. Now that is great customer service in my book!
I was so impressed with the product that I ordered another one for mt partner. Again, great performance. I highly recommed this company.

The Laptop is brilliant has done everything I have asked of it but unfortunately I cannot give you 5 stars due to the delay in receiving the machine. Ordered it at the beginning of October and and was quoted between 3 and 7 days. I did not receive it until the beginning of November. I emailed them mid November to find out what was happening, only then did I get an update. Gadget Centre, communicate with your customers better.

Laptop arrived and looked as if brand new. Well pleased with my purchase which has saved me 100's of £s

I had to wait slightly longer as I requested a specific laptop make. When it arrived it looked brand new and so far working well. It also had programmes pre installed which were not expected. Great service from GC

I've been meaning to replace my win10 laptop for a while now and saw GC a while back on facebook. I've had my new Win11 for nearly 3 weeks and its a cracking piece of kit for the money. I paid 330 and specced it myself to do what I need which is ideal. so far so good and 3yr warranty into my price. I would certainly recommend as they delivered what they promised.

I see many positive feedbacks … but the jury is out for me and the small charity I work for. We ordered a laptop 2 weeks ago. No updates. Just payment taken. I’ve had to email twice and response is we are working on it

The order took 5 weeks to arrive but I got a 15.4 inch machine when I was after a 14 inch one so it would be useful to add that to the selection options. Customer service is excellent and very responsive and I returned the laptop and got a 14 inch replacement which added another week.
The laptop itself is excellent despite being an older model, it looks new and has good battery life so I'm still very happy with the performance and spec except the colour as I would have preferred a silver laptop rather than black. Therefore, this service is perhaps not the best for someone very fussy or after a recent model as the service is very much luck dependant. Although to be honest, for the price and peace of mind I am very happy overall.

Great product mainly. Communication was good but ultimately, the laptop we received ticked all the boxes in terms of performance. The actual aesthetics were a liitle bit disappointing. That is, the laptop was a black chunky case not a sleek silver slim line number?! But, that was literally, the only gripe...

Writing this review in the hope they see it and pick up the phone or reply to an email.. Like others the delivery time is not 3-5 days more like 3-5 weeks even when you chase it so be prepared to wait .

It then arrived and straight away i could see an issue on the screen / a burn spot and was told to see if it would rub off ! then when i emailed back saying it wouldn't rub off the email communications stopped !
I then went to plug the computer in after a day of uploading everything as i needed the PC and hoped that it could be returned to have the screen replaced later , only to find they had sent a Dell charger for a Lenovo computer which isn't compatible

So the supposed checks they do clearly aren't done as this passed QC with a damaged screen and the wrong charger ! and now they aren't answering mails about both issues ! and you can't call as you get a message saying we are to busy to answer calls , send an email.

I'll give them a week then i'll be starting a charge back claim on my card ...

Or pick up the phone and answer your mails so we can resolve these issues please.
