FURHG makes bespoke green oak porches and pergolas, built to your measurements in our Kent workshop and delivered across the UK. We are a small team, and every frame is cut and jointed the way oak frames have always been made — solid oak throughout, using large section oak with tapered oak pegs rather than hidden fixings. There are four designs to start from: the Brabourne, with its fully curved tie beam and curved front posts; the Faversham, with a sweeping curved beam on straight posts; the Romney, with a queen truss in the apex; and the Tenterden, clean and straight with three vertical spindles. Anything that doesn't fit those, we build to your own drawing. You can price your own porch on our website in a couple of minutes, and we'll send a dimensioned sketch back before anything is cut. Before your frame leaves us it stands in the workshop and you get photographs of it, with a tape measure on it, to check against your wall. It arrives as a kit on a pallet, ready to put up. Green oak, made properly, that will still be there in a hundred years.

Researching oak porches wasn’t easy but Furgh had a good website and Marty was very helpful and informative. The great thing is they did exactly as we asked and on delivery it all fitted. We couldn’t ask for more and it was a reasonable price. A good business.
After renovating our cottage top to bottom a oak porch was the final addition.
If I'm honest I was a little anxious about ordering from a company 200 miles away, but I can honestly say FURHG was by far the best company I dealt with throughout our renovations.
Nothing was to much trouble and we were guided by them to achieve the look we wanted. We got photos, videos of our porch during manufacture.
The final product is amazing and we get endless great comments on the porch with people even taking photos.
It was an absolute pleasure to deal with a company that delivered in every way.
Amazing service, everything was easy from getting a price to ordering and delivery and its great quality.

Happy to recommend FURHG. Their product, in my case was the complete structural oak frame to construct a large porch. Service was professional, friendly and delivered on time.

We’ve now used this company four times – three times for our business premises and most recently for an oak porch at our own home.
We’ve always been really pleased with both the service and the quality. Communication is great from start to finish and everything is made so well.
Our builders have always been impressed and say they're the best porches they have put up. Everything is clearly marked and prepared ready for construction, which made their job so much easier.
The fact we’ve gone back four times probably says it all! We’ve always been really happy with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
A good range of porches we’re advertised and we (the family) are delighted with the finished product. Good erection advice provided, easy to follow and understand. Delivered very promptly and no hidden extras.
From start to finish the ordering process was smooth, personal and professional. The porch arrived when it should, excellent quality and easy to install. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality product at a reasonable price. Thank you
