I'm writing this review with a lot of reluctance however unfortunately it's come down to this. I purchased 5 frogs from Tony 4 weeks ago. When purchasing I was exteremly excited for these frogs to arrive. When speaking to Tony he mentioned some issues he was facing however assured me he had the frogs and they would be with me. When discussing we spoke about collecting from an expo he had someone going to. I said that would be great as it was local and assured me they had been reserved. Arriving at the expo at the time discussed I find they have been sold.

I ring Tony and speak to him and all seemed to be settled. I even offered to drive to Nottingham to collect them in person to avoid any further issues which he agreed too. I messaged a couple of days later to which I get told they've been collected by the courier and they will be with me the following week due to the heatwave. I agreed and waiting.

The following week I chased as I had no update from the courier. The last thing I want is the frogs to show up when no one is home. No response. I tried again for 3 days. no response. This lead me to ring every hour until I get a response. To my surprise I get an email about a refund on my drive home.

Now this is great but there are two issues. I have waited 3 weeks for these frogs that I set up my enclosure for and 2, where are these frogs I purchased? It has now been 5 days since I got my refund however I am still to have an update.

P.S. When I have spoke to Tony he has been very pleasant and easy to speak to however this is about 2 times in 4 weeks. He is also very difficult to get hold of. I also offered to purchase other frogs from him as I have heard great things about his business however I'm still having no response so unfortunately I feel it is my duty to warn others who are looking to purchase frogs from this business.

So unfortunately after having to write a bad review to get the company to reply to me as below I still have not had a refund. I’ve reached out again through their WhatsApp and was ignored again. I paid using Klarna so I can see NO refund has been processed.Today is my son’s birthday, I purchased a month ago. I had no communication from Frog father or the third party company regarding any delivery, I’ve got no frogs/plants etc, and still no refund of £336. Promised a refund has been processed on the reply to my previous negative review and am being ignored when I message. The only way I seem to get a response is by messaging on here. Please can you contact me on what is happening or process the refund like you said in your message you have. This whole experience has been awful. What makes it worse is that I’ve used frog father previously so thought they were trust worthy.

Tony went above and beyond to get me exactly the right frogs for my set up, even going so far as to inspect the enclosure, make some suggestions, provide a wide range of perfect plants, foods, supplements, and ideas to make sure that my thumbnail dartfrogs will be happy for years. Good on you, FrogFather!

I bought three dart frogs for my son a few weeks ago and dealing with Tony throughout the last few weeks has made the experience a lot easier. Any questions were always answered promptly and in a friendly manner.

5 stars, would definitely recommend.

I bought 5 Bumblebee dart frogs and a few other items. As a first time keeper of frogs the seller was an absolute hero by settling my nerves and giving me lots of invaluable advice.

The frogs were delivered by a specialist courier, I was kept up to date throughout the whole process and they arrived in perfect condition.

I will be buying both frogs and equipment again without hesitation from The FrogFather and I can safely recommend them to everybody else also.

I ordered 3 bags of Moss mix and all turned up, just waiting to use them, I also have ordered 2 hang on forever broms and they are pretty neat.

Firstly I never write reviews but this high level of customer service warranted it!

I found the Frogfather through a Google search and I was only window shopping but came across the 3d printed light brackets realising they may work for my lighting rig but with some custom amendments.

I whatsapped the store and had a personal response within an hour (this was 10pm at night) the following day before midday Tony had redesigned my bracket and had it printed which was unbelievable service. The item was then delivered in under 48hrs and worked as desired, customer service is unreal and very rare these days to go above and beyond especially for such a small order.

Highly recommended and I will be using this store more without a doubt.

Frogfather has helped me no end lately with step by step instructions on setting up a second bioactive tank.

I brought my first bioactive tank and pair of dart frogs last year and have been back a few times to purchase other items. And have never had any problems at all
He recently sent me some oak leaf ficus for my gecko tank as I was struggling to find it

So.

I ordered a dry moss mix, it cost £19 and advertised 1kg. All I got in return was a 20g bag… for £19…. When leaving a review in the last the owner told me I selected the wrong option.

Yet at the time there was no other options. Nothing to select other that add to cart / buy now, along with showing £19 for 1kg.

You can find full proof of this on way back machine. Which I used along with my photos to report to trading standards after the owner tried to hide their tracks.

There was also no solution to fix this. So, due to limit sources in the Uk of this product I went to order the 1kg option which he “nicely” decided to add. It was priced at £87. Come to order it yesterday and he’s increased it to £187…..

There is no excuse for any of this. You still owe me another 1kg. I have taken screenshots of all at the time proving you broke GDPR along with False Advertising.
