It was a very difficult and ultimately unsuccessful business sale, we brought Fosters in after some months of negotiations, although the deadline was then very tight Josh and Polly worked quickly to produce an SPA within a week. They were always attentive, responsive and professional and when it became clear the sale was going to collapse Josh seemed to feel the frustration and disappointment almost as much as we did. We highly recommend them as having professionalism and the human touch in good balance

Slow and no empathy
Fosters are acting on behalf of our buyers. They are very slow and have made the whole process much more stressful by their poor and tardy communication with our solicitors.
We are still waiting on an exchange (and completion) date even though they have had responses to the buyers queries for over two weeks.
When pushed by our estate agent they simply quoted their internal target timescales and showed no urgency or empathy for the families involved in this protracted debacle.
Updated 13/06/25. Almost four weeks since your response and after having received responses to the latest buyer's queries on 26/05/25 it seems that progress has stalled again.
By your calculations you will be above the national average next week.

We have read your review carefully and have noted your comments and the concerns that you have raised. We do take any expression of dissatisfaction with our service extremely seriously. However, we are restricted by Law Society regulations, and I am sure that you can appreciate that we are bound by these restrictions which, in practice, means that we are not in a position disclose any information to you as you are not our client. But we can confirm, we are 10 weeks into the transaction from the point of receiving draft contracts. We understand parties in the chain wish to move withing the half term. The national average for transaction to complete is currently 12 to 14 weeks.
