**My experience with Forneau – Be very careful before ordering**

I ordered a titanium frying pan (28 cm) and a titanium cutting board from Forneau on 26 September 2026. The total amount was $279.

Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing and has raised serious concerns about this company.

After placing my order, I received no shipping confirmation or tracking number. I contacted the company to ask about the delivery, but despite their assurances, I was never given any concrete information about when my order would actually be dispatched.

When I eventually opened a PayPal dispute, I received an email from Forneau apologising for the delay and asking why I had opened the dispute. However, the message provided no real explanation, no shipping evidence and no definite delivery date. It felt like a generic customer service response rather than an attempt to resolve my specific problem.

During this process, I also came across other customer reports on Trustpilot and consumer-warning websites, raising concerns about the company's claimed French origins, product quality and the possibility that the products might not correspond to what is advertised.

I cannot independently verify all these reports, but combined with my own experience, they seriously undermined my confidence in this company.

Fortunately, I paid through PayPal and eventually got my money back. Without PayPal's buyer protection, recovering the $279 might have been much more difficult.

My advice to anyone considering buying from Forneau:

- Be cautious about the company's claims regarding product origin and manufacturing.
- Look carefully for independent customer reviews before ordering.
- Be aware that delivery delays and the lack of tracking information can become a serious issue.
- If you decide to purchase, consider using a payment method that offers strong buyer protection.

I am sharing this experience to help other consumers make an informed decision.

Based on what happened to me, I would not recommend buying from Forneau.
